Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It's a simple metal brace with engravings of waves, wind, and crevices.

Katie slips it on quickly, scared.

"She sounds powerful." Katie says.

 

*Rineth is now flying towards the lost kingdom*

"She's very kind, don't worry. Maybe she can meet with you while you're at our island."

 

Stephanie grabs Sgavrinn and Artemis telekinetically, before flying through the portal with them.

"That sounds nice. I hope I don't come off too threatening." Katie says, looking at her trident.

 

I look at them emerge from the portal.
"Welcome, to the remains of the Lost Kingdom."
I say to Stephanie.

 

"Might want to hide the trident."

"Aww..." Ragnyon smiles at the sleeping pair.

 

"Wait, how much would you buy this bag of metal filings for?" She'd place the image of the bag in their mind.

 

"Thanks. Anything threatening you I can kill around here?" She asks.

Katie seems nervous, "Um, do you think you could look after it? You're her daughter, and I don't want to lose my trident." She asks.


Stephanie smiles, "Looks like team nature is tired out." she comments.

 

"I doubt it. I think Daras would know if anything was here, anyways."

I turn to Daras.
"Right?"
I ask him.

 

"Wow. That's a small fortune you have there. The top entrance is open to you."

"Kai can keep it safe, too."

 

"Thanks. You've done so much for me, I don't think I can repay you." Katie says sadly.

 

"You don't need to, I've barely done anything."

 

Elyra teleports up to the top entrance and glances around the area.

 

"You took me to a beautiful coral reef and let me pet and ride Kai!" Katie says happily.

 

"Maybe someone hid themselves somehow?"

"What's stopping them from healing?"

"No, there isn't anything on the island itself. You've got a whole load of monsters to the north in the sea, or sometimes in the air, but most of them aren't even hostile. Some on the islands to the north-east are very dangerous. But nothing dangerous on this island."

 

"Aww, man!" Stephanie says. She looks like she's on the brink of tears.

 

"As I thought."
I say, turning back to mainly the group.
"So, do we wait for Rineth or carry on to the lake?"

"Are you okay?"
I ask Stephanie.

 

It's a platform with a flight of stairs going into a rather odd city. Draconians are guarding the platform.
"Welcome to our city, human."

"That's barely anything! Trust me, you'll like this too."

"Possibly, but that's a long shot."

"I just wanted to kill stuff," Stephanie says, starting to cry, "But there's nothing hostile to kill!"

I say, minorly nervous.
