Any Thing I Should Know?

Hi, I'm WhatsA1v1 formerly known by Stoker05 (Most wouldn't know me) but that's beside the point.
I have been gone from wynncraft for about 3 months, and I need some pointers.
I used to have a Trade Market shop and that was a big part of how I played Wynncraft. I wanted to start it back up, but didn't know where to begin.
If there is anything people would like to tell me to help me get started, I would greatly appreciate that.
I need to know things like;
Places to grind,
Do certain mobs drop better loot
How did loot change in the Gavel update
What is the new item rarity about
What is "set" armor
How much do identifications affect the price range on items
What happened to adventurer and nether armor
Whats up with powders
What is the easiest way to calculate the weakness and strength in a weapon/armor/mob?

Anything else useful.

I'll answer your questions in a little FAQ type of format.

Q: What are the best places to grind?
A: For levels 85 and higher, grind at the Freezing Heights located in Molten Heights. For levels 95 and higher, you may wish to grind at ToA.

Q: Do certain mobs drop better loot?
A: In general, Lv 85+ mobs drop the "better" loot, since most of the items dropped are high leveled and can be sold for a bunch. You also have a better chance on getting a Mythic from Lv 85+ mobs, since most Mythics are Lv 90+.

Q: How did loot change in the Gavel update?
A: Emeralds now drop multiple times, up to 6 emeralds per mob killed if you have high loot bonus. Items that are either Unique, Rare, Legendary, Set, or Mythic (we will get to that in just a moment) will drop unidentified and will need to be identified in order to be used.

Q: What is this new item rarity all about?
A: Mythics have a 0.0007% chance to drop. This makes them incredibly rare and can be sold for stacks of Liquified Emeralds. They can be identified by their purple name. You can find the list of Mythics here.

Q: What is "set" armor?
A: Set armor is armor that, when all worn at the same time, gives a little ID bonus. Some set armors include Snail armor, Jester, Adventurer, and Clock.

Q: How much do identifications affect the price range of items?
A: They affect them a lot, a 91% (max) walk Stratiformis (a Mythic bow) is worth MUCH more than a 21% (min) walk Stratiformis.

Q: What happened to Adventurer armor and Nether armor?
A: Due to a glitch, they are now worth almost 15 EB a set (or maybe even less). Players were able to dye the new Adventurer armor and Nether armor dropped by mobs, and the old (dyed) versions are now worthless. If you're wondering what mobs drop these armors; Silverfish in the Desert drop the new Adventurer armor (that is not dyed), and Blazes near the Nether Portal drop the new Nether armor (not dyed).

Q: What's up with powders?
A: Powders are being reworked to fit into the elemental system. There will be 5 types of powders, green (Earth), white (Air), red (Fire), yellow (thunder), and blue (Water). There will also be 6 tiers of powders, all located in their said relics. Powders are being planned to be released in the Follow-Up Update, along with new dungeons and quests. Q: What is the easiest way to calculate the weakness and strength in a weapon/armor/mob?
A: I'm not too sure for this one, try asking around and see if someone can answer it for you.

Anything else you need to know: To find min and max ID's, go to Syaoran3's item guide. That's really all, if you need more assistance refer to the Wiki.

The new armor is actually glitched so that it drops undyed. It will be fixed in a future update. Also, any mob has a chance to drop the armor so long as the mob is within the item's level range. The player also has to be within the mobs level range too. Don't ask me what the level range is, but level 75 or any other high level won't get weapon/armor drops. @Stoker

Gavel has been out for way more than 3 months. You must have been gone for longer. I went inactive for 3 months as well, so I know it was after.

 

I knew Gavel existed, and have actually ventured the early stages of it...but did not know much in detail about the things that came along with it.

 

Ah ok. Since you were asking about Mythics and Elements I though you did not witness the update. My bad.

Another question, are items that existed before the Gavel update still worth anything?

 

Armor and weapons such as Dragon Skin with the old ID system are worthless and cannot be sold.
Old versions of items such a diamond Blue Mask are worth the same as a new iron Blue Mask.
For adventurer armor, nether armor, any dyed armor, etc. see the thread in the TM.
