I can remember grian said in a kind of gavelteaser that gavel is filled with magic and mythical creatures or something like that. No undead like in wynn. Most of the mobs seem to be some kind of folklore or whatvr.

You are missing a vital piece of information. Have you examined Qira's arena closely any time? Specifically on the ledges above the arena. You cannot get there, but you -can- see them...

I think the dwarves just have one king, but they live in different places, not just one "capital."
So, the king did live in Rodoroc, but he died, and now the king is in Thanos.
Maybe if the king in Thanos dies, the next king will be in Dogovi.
But I could be wrong and they could be planning to add a "Rodoroc King" NPC in a future quest, which I don't doubt.

I checked out the ledges and all I found were spider wags and a weird yellowish thing? Was it an egg or something like that?


And then of course there's the giant spider but it's not exactly on a ledge.

I always though that since they were near the cow lab thing and that they were part cow, they had to be from that lab.

 

Another thing, not sure if you knew, but The Butcher, (Boss of Gerts 2) created a group of meat monsters made of Gert. These creatures could also have leaked into the Canyon.

You could always hire an escort in the "Your Work" section. I'm sure one or two people would be willing to take you to the Hive. There are even some who do it for free.

 

I don't think you understand. I have been to the hive many times. The problem is the eggs are in the arena where you fight Qira. So unless they can magically get me through the quest without ever starting it and get to her boss battle, that won't work very well...

 

Oh, I see. I assumed you were low level and had a had time getting to the Hive, as the Canyon of the Lost is easy to die in for lower levels.
