Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

OOC: Dang, the formatting of this turned out weird.

I knock on the ice wall, slowly because of the water.

 

OOC: It recognises it as a double post if you post a reply just after someone else has posted (weirdly).

The ice wall slowly cracks apart, it appears to be quite thin. You can see the blue glow of light down one of the other tunnels.

 

I try kicking the ice wall, but still gripping the wall as to not get pushed away.

 

The ice wall shatters apart, leaving a hole big enough for you to fit through. The light seems to be fading.

A shark swims through the pair of opposite tunnels at the next junction.

 

I fit through the hole, and then go through the side without the sharks, and try and catch up to the light.

 

The tunnel seems to straighten out, and the light heads upwards at the end of the tunnel.

 

I try going as fast as I can, using the walls to help me.

 

You find yourself met by a force pushing you back, trying to force you back into the tunnels. Moving through the tunnel becomes incredibly hard.

The end of the tunnel is in sight, but getting there is incredibly hard.

 

I use the walls to hold on to and bush me forward, while turning on and off my boots, for some boots of acceleration.

Not that there will be fire, but there will be a bit of pushing forwards.

 

You eventually get to the end of the tunnel. You can see a slight blue light above you, probably best to swim up.

 

I look up at the light and wave, before swimming up after it.

 

You find yourself in a cavern with waist-high water. Katie sits at the other end of the cavern, looking away. You can just about hear her crying.

 

I open my mouth and give it a second or two to let the extra water drain out.

I then quietly get onto some land where I can stand, and slowly walk over to Katie.

 

Katie just keeps crying. A few of the blue lights, which look like fairies now, form ice walls in front of you; preventing you from getting closer to Katie.

 

I look at the fairies and roll my eyes.

I then slowly take out my sword, and lay it on the ground.

I then lift up my hands to the fairies in a surrendering fashion.

 

The fairies encase you in ice, before slowly starting to push you back to the exit tunnel.

 

I clearly look upset, but there's nothing I'm doing to stop them from pushing me back.

 

They very slowly push you, since they're only fairies. Katie keeps crying, and a few of the fairies fly over to Katie, trying to calm her.

 

I look at Katie, then I look the fairies, raising my non-existent eyebrows.

I'm still not resisting in any way.

 

After a while, you find yourself quickly sinking back down into the tunnel. The ice shatters as it hits the bottom, but you get thrown back to the end of the tunnel by the jet of water.
