Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Do you know where he is? If he's being hunted down, he probably isn't mind controlled."

 

"Yes. I found him while I was attempting to find out what was pulling down the airships. I suspected him, but he pointed out that the ones hunting him down were the ones pulling down the airships."

I sit down and pull out some rations from my bag and begin eating. They look surprisingly fancy for rations.

"Do not mind me, I've been consuming a large amount of power and need rest."

 

"No, I hope you'd be giving him some kind of protection or support."

 

"Don't worry, we've all seen stranger things. We get it if you need to eat."

 

"Very well."

Pause.
"Now, may you please elaborate on all of the draconian gods?"

 

"I don't intend to, lest I need to call upon them to end you. I'll give you the titles, though. There's Virei'tus, the Deity of Divine Judgement and Xlentia, the Deity of Decay."

 

"Mhm...yes...thank you." I reply, taking down notes.

"Now, have you any information on what are the different capabilities and strengths of Draconians? I understand that giving their weaknesses is compromising, so I shall not request that of you."

 

"We are tied to aspects, or elements if you will. That's basic knowledge, though. For example, as a Sage elemental, I can grow plants and I gain energy in the sun. My breath is a healing mist instead of fire."

 

"Alright; but Stephanie's artwork looks close to real. Don't be afraid to ask her." Abigail says.

"Yeah, I shouldn't expect too much from Sgavrinn anyway. I don't want him getting hurt." Artemis says.

 

"I'm sure he'd be happy to hear that from you. He really likes you a lot."

 

"Yeah, he's a great pet; especially since he's tied to my element. I couldn't ask for anything better." Artemis says happily.

 

"I think he likes you as an owner, too."

 

"Yes...I see...thank you."
I write down notes on what she said as I finish the food I am eating.
"Now, have you any information on a Prince of Emeraldonia?"

I nod.

 

"Not really. Vesius fell near there, I think. That's all I remember."

 

"Heh, I'm glad he does. I like looking after animals anyway." Artemis says happily.

 

A small white flower sprouts in front of Artemis.
Sgavrinn smiles in his sleep.

 

Artemis kneels down to the flower, gently touching its petals and observing every part of it, "How pretty; and so pure." She says, smiling.

 

"You see, a prince that you were bringing back there from the woods where he fainted is in a coma. Perhaps you, or someone in this group, is able to wake him?"

 

"I should be able to wake him," Myria says, walking closer, "I've woken beings from an infinite unconsciousness before."

 

"Oh, they keep saying coma. He's dead."
