OOC: The forest is practically razed and Rineth's huge.

He pauses, showing a glowing ball of energy.
"My name is Virei'tus, Deity of Divine Judgement. The coming days will make your case; tread carefully, lest I find you guilty."

 

"I see...then, shall I receive permission to further investigate this Ihra?"
I jot down: Draconians appear to have healers as well, as the draconian named Ihra is one.
I draw another light sketch of Vir.

"What?" Abigail asks flatly.

He disappears.

Sgavrinn wakes with a start.
"Artemis... Artemis? Virei'tus is reaching out to me. Something's coming towards Ihra."

"H-Huh? Wh-What is it?" Artemis asks.

"St-Stephanie, I think I n-need to go back," Artemis says, "Something's h-happening."

"You can go back if you need to," Shadow Stephanie says, opening a dark portal next to her, "Aj will come back when he's ready."

"Th-Thanks Stephanie." Artemis says, wiping her eyes.

It's a long walk/flight.

"Virei'tus said a god is coming. He warned Ihra, too, but she's... I don't know."
He gets up, ready to follow Artemis.

 

"Uh, Stephanie? Do you think you could come with me for a bit? Apparently a god is coming." Artemis says.

"Oh, sure thing. I guess it's important to have a Shadow with you, since Aj's here," Shadow Stephanie says, "I'll just get changed out of my royal clothes. You go ahead, I'll be right with you."

"Thanks." Artemis says, walking through the portal.

*Overworld*

Artemis walks through a dark portal near to Rineth and Ihra.

 

Sgavrinn follows out.
"Sorry to not let you be there, Artemis. Virei'tus said a god of destruction is inbound, and I was hoping for your input along with Stephanie and Katie's."

 

"N-No, it's fine, Sgavrinn." Artemis says, smiling weakly at Sgavrinn.

"Welcome back, Artemis." Stephanie says, walking over and smiling.

"Hey, Stephanie. Did you know about this god of destruction coming?" Artemis asks.

"Ah...what?" Stephanie says, dumbstuck. She reaches inside her cloak and pulls out a small, purple phial.

"Sgavrinn told me that Virei'tus told him about it." Artemis says.

"Is Aj alright? I think we'll need his help." Stephanie says, slightly nervous.

"Your Shadow said she'd help." Artemis says.

 

Sgavrinn nuzzles Rineth, who puts his wing over him.
"It'll be okay."

"Artemis? I don't know how I feel about a god of destruction. What do I do? He wants to see me..."

 

"I said you probably wouldn't know... we're also known sometimes as Chrono Leeches, though we prefer Krontyri. We have this ability where we create our own versions of beings we find. The reason our common tongue name has 'chrono'? We are sort of tied to time. Imagine time is this expanding web. Then imagine that there are specific points on the web where the split. That's an important event. Imagine some points which stretch directly from the centre. You could say that's us. Then imagine one of these hits a large and complex point, or event, and is split in half and stretches out in different directions. One of those splits is me.

Stephanie stares at her purple phial, as if contemplating drinking it.

I fly at a slow pace at first, drawing sketches of Vir and the draconian corpse from earlier and re-writing what Vir wiped. Once I'm done, I fly at a faster pace and use a small whirlwind to propel me forwards.

A certain yellow flower pops up.
"What? A God of Destruction? What on earth would he want with Ihra?!"

 

"Is this that friend of yours?" Artemis asks.

 

"The one that gave me the sword? I doubt that. He was certainly no god. An entity from another dimension, sure. And besides, if he actually was a god, you and Aj already convinced me that he's just a sham."

 

"Still, someone who goes by a god of destruction-" "Stands no chance against a god of shadow." Shadow Stephanie interrupts, stepping through a dark portal.

Shadow Stephanie spins her twin daggers in each hand, throwing them up and catching them, holding them ready.

"'Sup dude." Shadow Stephanie says, looking at FH.
