SPOILER The Sky Island Mystery

Have you guys been to the Sky Islands? Have you truly been to the sky islands? Have you ever investigated that mysterious little town on the edge of it? Have you ever followed the clues of it?

So you see, I was venturing around the Sky Islands, I wanted to go to the starter NPC for Fantastic Voyage cause why not, but then I saw something... a town. I went to the town, and looked around. It was abandoned. Then I followed some sort of totem thingy that was pointing somewhere. So I went towards that place and found another town. Abandoned. So far so good, right? Nope, when I look up I see some enormous ice castle, abandoned. So I investigated it, and et cetra. However, looking back at the first place... the tombstone says, "In honor of the brave souls who saved this land". Not only that but I saw several packages as if people were moving away...

Now here is something that I believe is true. We don't know the lore for anything yet, we have to make our own that makes sense and et cetra.

Here is what I think the lore is:
Thousands of years ago, there was a family of towns each near each other. On top of the head town was an Ice Castle. However, one day, on an airship to one of the towns, a curse came from the province of Dern. However, the town were lucky, some heroes came and saved the whole side of the map! Unfortunately, the heroes, like anyone else, past away, and the villagers had a tombstone in town square honoring them. They thought they were safe, however, when the heroes were past, the curse came back, and this time stronger than ever. The towns looked toward the armies of Rodoroc to send in backup, however incidents were occurring in Rodoroc it self! The dwarf king of Thanos was recently assassinated! Put away in a tomb in Rodoroc it created a series of volcanic explosions, and the king, as wise as he was, he wanted revenge. Back in the towns, they were evacuating, running away! Some got away and got to the other side of the land, yes land, and colonized a new place known as Ahmsord today. However, others were killed. Because of all this, the dead dwarf king did a final stand in his grave, and in order to protect the Sky Islands from any such thing like this, he caused the land to go into the air! Defying all the laws of physics and gravity. Along with that, he didn't realize that he hurt Rodoroc and covered it in ashes. The magma still haunts the Sky Islands somewhere... in a series of mysterious platforms that is. Thus, the Sky Lands were safe, and the only threat that stood was the flying beasts. They came no where close to Ahmsord. With several towns wiped out, a king assassinated, a city covered with ash, a land with no gravity, came the greatest city of them all, Ahmsord.

how can a dead dwarf do something
when you go in rodoroc you can clearly see the roof has a pattern of it , like the city is a massive cave not a city that was covered with ash

 

we just havent made a quest for it, jeez

 

there might me a relic there, or around, or a future quest.

 

Well the stuff for the sky islands hasn't been fully implemented so hold your horses before making theories about that.

 

Is this the sky raider base ?

 

@Shtafjord Said that its called the skyraiders base, and its one of the places where theres gonna be lvl 90 quests for the lvl 90 quest update.

 

Yeah, this has been thread-ified before. That entire corner of the Sky Islands are void of NPCs, they haven been coded into public Wynncraft yet. In the future, we shall visit it again, while doing quests.

 

Airships are really cool in my opinion. I also like your story of how you did it, Min.
