Of course, it's a mythic. It's supposed to offer the best value for its level. However, pure really isnt as good anymore after the spell dmg patch. You must have done something wrong lol

 

I was planning to spike the shit out of +attack speed

Ethereal can't really accommodate.
3.5 stacks is way out of my price range tho, and I'm notwilling to pay 4 stacks for it

it was a fair price. Any almost maxed out mythic should go for at least 3.5

with a good intel build pure can actually work pretty well
