Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"A meteor shower...? Who's this Gargantuan?"

 

"Had I explained things, you might have been killed."

Abigail tries jumping up to Rineth's snout, but can't.

"Where's Dake!?" Abigail asks, frustrated.

 

"Gargantuan is the nation to the north. Our ruins were from their army; theirs are from a meteor shower. Somehow, the meteors only struck their nation."

"How so?"

 

"This is...interesting. Anyways, have you any information on this new race, these...draconians?"

 

"I had about a second to stop the monster from cutting Rineth and you in half. Had I said 'There's a big monster trying cut you in half right now." You'd be dead.

Abigail tries climbing up one of Rineth's legs.

 

"Hardly. Our prince and his family helped two of them, but they moved on. Our prince, though, is a bit grounded, so I'm afraid you wouldn't get anything out of him."

"Oh..."

 

"Oh, I will certainly be able to. Take me to him."

 

Abigail falls off Rineth's leg multiple times, but keeps trying to climb up.

"Daaaaaaaake!" Abigail says, frustrated.

 

"Abigail, we don't know where he went. He's not exactly here."
I say, walking over to her.
"And it seems that you still need to get some rest. So please, do that."

 

Abigail sits on the ground and crosses her arms, putting on an annoyed expression.

"I wanna kill Dake!" She says, annoyed, "I don't wanna go sleep yet!"

 

"So you're just going to go rampaging around as a six-year-old, yelling his name until he magically appears? Sleep, Abigail."
Pause.
"Also, don't hold grudges. They make everyone around you including you unhappy."

 

"Come on Abigail, it's time to finish your healing process." Myria says, walking over to Abigail and picking her up.

"No! I wanna kill Dake!" Abigail screams, kicking and trying to get out of Myria's grip.

Myria carries Abigail to her lava pool, dropping her in, "Wait in there until your new body has been created; and don't come out as a six year old again. I know you're seventeen." Myria says.

Abigail pouts as she sinks into her lava pool; the skin starting to melt off of her face as she does so.

 

"Thanks."
I say to Myria.
"Don't exactly know how to handle a six-year-old Abigail with bloodlust."

 

"You just need to treat her like a normal six year old who's misbehaving. Be stern and punish them for their bad behaviour. Abigail knew better than to change back to when she was six, I think she just wanted attention." Myria says.

 

"Hm. Alright, noted."
I say, watching the pool.

 

The pool bubbles gently, steaming and hissing.

"I'm glad Drake isn't here, actually. Abigail was very weak, she could've been killed." Myria says, raising a hand. The wooden spikes re-emerge around Abigail's pool.

 

"I don't even know what to do with the two of them. Let's just hope Abigail is in less of a bloodlust when she gets out."
I still keep watch of the pool.

 

Stephanie takes a silver potion out of her cloak, uncorking it and drinking it. Stephanie's hair turns silver, except at the ends which remain purple.

"They certainly seem to hate each other a whole lot." Myria says.

Stephanie summons a stick and a bag of marshmallows, "Want any caramelised marshmallows, Thirteen?" Stephanie asks, smiling.

 

"Yeah..."
I say to Myria, before turning to Stephanie,
"Sure! Not that I'll swallow them, but it sounds nice to taste. Nice hair, as well."

 

"Thanks." Stephanie says, floating over to Abigail's lava pool, above the wooden spikes. It's like gravity doesn't affect her.

Stephanie puts a few marshmallows on her stick and holds it above Abigail's lava pool. They start to heat up and caramelise.
