Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He nods before running off.

...
He returns with a note and two messengers.
"They say they just vanished. All of the ones missing were carrying grain."

"So, then why bind her?"

 

"I see. And what is that note?" I ask, motioning to the note.

"The two of you are to await further orders." I say to the two messengers.

 

"Because if we tried to stop her another way, things wouldn't end well. That's what Eras' logic was anyway."

 

The two others take a step back.

"Well... that is the note."

"If we tried to be nice to her, wouldn't she follow suit? Ah well... we're almost there now. Maybe she'll like Ihra more than us."

 

"You know where his body lies?" Myria asks.

"Um, yes. I withered it into the ground." Artemis says.

Myria walks up to Ihra and places a hand on her head. Myria's eyes start glowing, and Ihra feels her memories and thoughts being read like a book.

"Actually, I think I'll make friends with him. He sounds like a pretty nice guy, and I'm sure we'll get along. I mean, he hates you, I stand on a neutral position with you, so maybe together we'll have a slight disliking for you." I say, smiling.

OOC: Congratulations.

"Um...I...yeah...no...I don't know!" Stephanie says, getting confused and frustrated, putting her hands to her head, "What is it between us!?"

A few tears run down Stephanie's face, she clearly can't handle the situation.

"Oh, I have one like that." Shadow Stephanie says, taking out the current disc and replacing it with another.

A different game starts, and Shadow Stephanie controls a different character. As her character walks through some grass, a battle starts. She seems to be fighting what looks like a bee with drills with an electric squirrel.

"You fight these monsters, then capture them once they're weak, and train them up to fight other monsters," Shadow Stephanie says, "They don't die if they lose all their health, they just faint."

 

A tear runs down her face as she relives Rineth's last moments.

She grits her teeth, then takes a deep breath, trying to get an idea out of her head.

"Stephanie... Why?" Ihra thinks in a bitter tone.

 

A calming aura surrounds Ihra, and she finds her consciousness being led away from her bad memories, instead to happier ones. A few forest spirits fly from newly sprouted flowers, coming to rest of Ihra.

After a while, Myria takes her hand away, "Thank you, I understand it must be hard to come to terms with the death of your friend." Myria says, walking over to Artemis.

Artemis and Myria walk over to a ring of flowers and sit down, taking each others hands. The pair of them focus.

The forest spirits hum sweet melodies to Ihra.

 

"Very well. Send out scouts to gather information about the location of the airships. Their main target is Maximus Industria. I have a feeling that there's something fishy going on over there. Dismissed."

I turn to the two messengers.

"You two. Your duty is to travel to Greenhill Stronghold and deliver a message to whoever is Captain of it now. You are to write what I am to dictate and give it only to the Captain, no one else. Understood?"

"Well, whatever you say."

 

I walk over to Abigail and start talking to her about nothing in particular. Katie splashes about in the hot spring happily.

 

I 'shrug' and then return to my sleep.

 

Ihra's just left in a trance.

"He wasn't a friend."

"As you wish."
The scout leaves.

"Understood."

 

After a long while, a few saplings begin sprouting and twisting around each other near to Ihra. They almost look like feet.

 

"If you're making a construct after the likes of him, thanks but no thanks."

 

"It's necessary, Ihra." Myria's voice echoes.

The wooden Rineth continues to form.

 

I clear my throat.

"New Captain of Greenhill Stronghold; I, Dominus Terrae, congratulate you upon being appointed by Sir Robert. I have had assurance that Sir Robert was to be trusted by me, however, I have no such assurance from you. I shall make five core demands in order to ensure that you are to be loyal to me, and to not stray from me.

First, you are to send a yearly 'contribution' of 10,000 gold coins to The Most Serene Kingdom of Perniciosa.

Second, you are to accept any and all trade from us with no tariffs or taxes.

Third, you are to treat any representatives sent by me and me only as you would treat me.

Fourth, you are to send 1,000 men as soldiers to The Most Serene Kingdom of Perniciosa.

Fifth, you are to provide any information requested by me or my representatives.

I hope that you shall fulfill these demands, and should you not, you are to face just punishment. Yours truly, Dominus Terrae, God of Destruction."

 

"Uh... for what?"

 

OOC: Lol, Helianthus would get PTSD from this.

 

"It is written as such. Shall we leave at once?"

 

"Yes. You are to be transported by my means." I stand up from my throne and walk to the center of the room. I focus my mind on The Stronghold and open a portal to there.

 

The wooden Rineth finally forms completely, and Myria and Artemis walk over to it, placing their hands on the faux-Rineth's head. The wooden Rineth glows green, before finally coming to life.
