Guide Tips And Tricks For Wynn

Hopefully by the time lots of people have suggested their favorite tips and tricks for Wynncraft this can be a full hub of ideas, tips, and all sorts of things that may help you on your journey through Wynn and Gavel! Comment all the tips you can think of (in one comment) and you'll be posted for the highest tipper! This has literally no value except for making you feel special, so yeah!

Cool Tips and Tricks!
- Opening a loot chest removes all mob agro
- Don't hack! Fools..
- You can break clay pots around the world to receive emeralds
- With warrior charge mid-fall to negate fall damage
- If you want to AFK do /class first
- For every 20% Walk Speed = to Speed I, 40% = Speed II etc.
- Some features such as blood particles can be turned off with /toggle
- Being in a party gives 20% of killed mobs XP to all party members in a certain radius!
- Don't drop those normal items, you can get more emeralds than items you need to odentify.
- Doing /class removes all effects including fire if you stand on there for a few seconds
- If you get to 5 soul points adj until you have more. Sometimes you can glitch and die twice.
- Identify items before selling to get more emeralds
- Don't go for highest health or damage, because in the end you aren't going to have a good build
- Don't get an item just because it has a higher level - there are some great items at low levels, especially with accessories
- Try to do all your quests on a double XP server. If you're too lazy to wait for one, only do this for hard level quests/quests with high xp
- Always bring a wand with decent neutral damage with you to beat those bosses
- Do dungeons and hard bosses with friends or a guild
- Try out lots of items, because you may suddenly find that the item which looked bad is better than the one you're using
- Look in every cave or ruin you find. Eventually, you will find some good loot chests or something else which is good
- Disable the Wynncraft texture pack before you join a war
- There are certain places in dungeons where mobs won't spawn or be able to get you!
- Filling your inventory with emeralds and dropping a quest item will let you get rid of it for good! No more climbing helmets!
- When riding a horse, you take no fall damage
- When breeding horses put your main horse in the bank to prevent accidentally breeding it
- Use several weapons to cover elemental weakspots
- Dont piss off mods!
- The more mobs there are around a loot chest, the better the loot you'll get
- On a double so weekend throwing a DXP Bomb makes a triple XP
- Lighting, candles, and other blocks are often subtle hints for quests
- If available, an extra class can be used as extra bank space
- When using a Spell, switching your hotbar slot disables the spell
- Life Steal activates more often when using slow weapons

You can break the random clay pots that lay around. They can give an emerald, and sometimes equipment! They're like mini loot chests! (Btw they have a 1x1x2/player hitbox)

 

1. Do not AFK anywhere, either log off or do /class.
2. When using the Assassin class, left-click during Vanish to unvanish.
3. When using the Warrior class, using Charge mid-fall negates fall damage.
4. Treat every dropped item as a rare item because you never know what Tier it is until you pick it up.
5. Never risk playing when Soul Points are below 3.
6. Untradable items cannot be dropped when all Soul Points are lost.
7. Some features such as blood particles and noteblock music can be toggled off with the /toggle command
8. Each 20% of the ID Walk Speed is the equivalent of +1 Tier of Speed (20% = Speed I / 40% = Speed II / etc.)

 

Being in a party grants you a 20% exp bonus, in addition to the ability to share exp from kills. When grinding, try creating a party, and inviting a friend who doesn't mind being in your party so you can get an exp bonus.

 

Sharing as in: splitting the XP or both players getting the same XP?

 

You recieve a 20% bonus for being in a party, and the exp is gained by both players when they are in close proximity.

Some general politeness tips:

-If you see someone at the area you want to grind xp/items at, PLEASE, ask them if they are ok with you grinding there, BEFORE you charge in killing everything. If they say yes, ask to party, that way everyone gets xp. If they say no or ask you politely to leave, respect their wishes. (DO NOT CONTINUE TO KILL THINGS IF THEY ASKED YOU TO LEAVE OR SAID NO.)
-Make sure whoever you're talking to is mature enough to talk about the subject on hand. (AKA Don't talk about R+ Rated things around strangers, you don't know how old they are, or how comfortable with the topic they are.)
-Don't add people to your friends list to stalk them and make them generally uncomfortable.
-Please, for the love of God, if a VIP+ is on the tab list, DON'T msg them, asking to throw DXP, more often than not, this is counterproductive. (Most of us used our free dxp anyways)
-Just don't be a jerk in general.

5) Join an active guild. Don't do it just for the wars however. Joining an active guild can help you meet more people and can increase the 'fun factor' in playing. By joining a guild, you can meet more people to plan events with, trade, talk about strategies, or even just hang out with. The more the merrier!

You get more money from the item buyer if you ID the items before selling them (most of the time).

 

If you have an effect and/or are on fire, you can /class and wait for the fire to go out. If you /class, the effect will immediately disappear.

 

/toggle blood never works for me tho ;_;
I remember fighting Bob in a party and no one could turn blood off.

When selling to an item buyer, the amount of money you generally get from items goes like this:
1. Mythic (why would you sell this to an item buyer sell it to a player you noob)
2. Legendary (only beats normal by sheer amt of em gained)
3. Normal (mostly tied w/ legendary, but with the bonus that you don't have to identify them, bringing the profit waaay up)
4. Rare, then goes down

Overall tip:
don't drop those normal items, you can get way more money than you usually would via item buyer

Nope, just figured this could be a cool thread to make. Always nice to learn something new.

 

This is a bad tip.
What if you need to regen soul points? Best option is to AFK on a roof of a relatively safe city.
I've never died from being AFK, and I AFK on top of houses in Nesaak all the time, in fact, once I even AFK'd inside a house in Lusuco.
