Guide How To Make Colored Items!

Hey guys! Now, you might have seen some of my custom suggestions, like my revamped skill points or custom bossbar. And many people ( @iSalted ) have wondered how I did it!

So here is a simple guide on how to make your own colored items and shtuff!

What you will need:
• Minecraft
•MCEDIT
•NBT Editor (Video on download HERE)

How to do it:

• First you need to create the item. In a command block! Now if you know what essentials is, you know how to do color codes. If not, click on this link HERE

Create your command item like this:


See how there are numbers in front? Using the colors codes, add a number or letter in front. But do not add the & symbol!

• Next you need to open your MCEDIT. Find the command block you put the command on and double click it


•Click on the filter button (the thing that looks like a coffee mug)
Then select NBT editor


•Clicking on it will open up a second editor, and then keep clicking the arrows down till you get to the bottom.
Then double click on:
[STRING]: Command: /Comandcommandblahblahblah


•This will open a menu. You should see a weird S symbol on the side.

Add the s before every essential icon, in this case: The B and the 4


•Now click Done, and Done again. Open your MCEDIT again, and do Control-S
This should save the file, and you can exit it out.
Open up your world and run the command!
You should now have a colored item!

What he means is you can edit the command block to suit your own intentions.

 

Well does this work for items?

 

but then you have to do all the editing and shtuff. Look it doesn't really matter.. This is just the way I do it cuz it's pretty fast

 

Wont work w/ a command block either....

 

The editing doesn't take long, just change from summon to give in the command block, do it whichever way you want to, I'm not trying to say otherwise, both are good methods.
