    And this would make it impossible for anyone to legitimately know if someone that they might need to talk to is available. It's a two-edged sword, and the back edge is not a good idea at all. When I first started, I friended several mods because I'd had experience on other servers where it came in handy to know some people to turn to for help. What you are suggesting is that new players, and old players, would have to keep a list of names by their pc of people to turn to for help, rather than in the friends list. I don't believe that is a good idea. Now, if there was a separate, automatic list of staff, that a player could turn to for help, that would be an alternative, but staff would NOT be able to hide from the list, in order for it to work. I don't believe that you would want that.
