How Did You Get Your Mythics?

If you have a mythic, how did you get it? Tier 3 loot chest? Grinding a random mob? A long night at ice cave?

 

Day one daily loot chest, a Freedom.

 

1 Az from ToL , sold it for 32le (ye ik , fml)
1 Archangel from my friend that leave Wynn
1 Weathered from Ice Cave
1 Lament I bought from @CrazySmokerDude for 3 stacks of LE
1 Lament from @mag7c <3

Two from mobs drops in Frozen Heights (A Guardian, and Alkatraz).

Go in the cave near the entrance to the jungle from the icy area, there, there's 2 teir 3 chests deeper in the cave. The 2nd one's in the hole infront of the first one. If you're level is 80-100, I'd say it's a better chance then grinding about a million mobs. ( Don't Correct me I know I'm Wrong, scrub )

Day 1 daily chest - a 320% SD pure sold for 22 LE. I cried for 22 days.

 

I found 7 mythics, Apocalypse, Alkatraz, Stratiformis and Weathered from grinding, Guardian from my daily rewards and a second Stratiformis and first Inferno from loot chest grinding.
Apocalypse at Gargoyle Cave, Alkatraz, Stratiformis at Frozen Heights 3 days apart, Weathered at TOA floor 6 level 7, the mobs there are Devouring Wraiths and level 97. I got Guardian from my daily rewards on a 5 day streak, I got Stratiformis from a T2 chest near Rodoroc and my Inferno from a T3 chest on the walls of Rodoroc.

 

In January, I found 2 from two random mobs around Frozen Heights, a grandmother and an amazing Alkatraz. I found a Gaia months later in a random tier 1 loot chest in the Sky Islands.

I got my first mythic on Friday the 13th of May 2016. (Yeah I know karma :P) I was doing the quest Lazarus pit when I was grinding for the rotten skin at the pond. I killed a werewolf and got a dagger, I assumed it was normal and carried on with the quest. It wasn't until after the I finished the quest when I found out. I was looking for the item he gave me and when I saw the mythic I took my headphones off and was like WTF. OMG. NO. NO FUCKING WAY.

Aaaand it turned out to be a really shit archangel that was worth 8le.

YOU MAY AS WELL GIVEN ME A FUCKING CORRUPTED TREASURE!

 

I found 0 mythics from grinding, none from my daily rewards, and a nothing from loot chest grinding. None at Gargoyle cave (where is dat?), none at the freezing heights 0 days apart, nothing at toa floor 6 and 7 and blahblahblah. (total=still 0)

 

found Pure in a tier 2 chest in pre light forest because nobody ever comes there, and few days ago found an Az in streak 5 daily bonus

 

I looted a tier 1 chest and found all the mythics in there!!!!
I was soo happy!!!





Than i woke up.
Rememberd i don't have any mythics at all.
And cried myself back to sleep.

 

Gargoyle Cave is in the Canyon of the Lost near where you do the quest called The Lost.

 

When your luck is so horrible at finding mythics that you have to spend 1.5 stacks buying one instead.


Pretty sure most of us can relate.

 

So far, I've found 4 mythics and bought 1, 2 were drops from frozen heights which were a grandmother bow with amazing stats and pretty s**t ignis, 3rd was one of the worst weathered daggers from a tier 1 loot chest near frozen heights and the final one I got from drops was a 39% walk speed archangel from ToL. The one I bought was a maxed walk speed weathered which to this day, has still made me broke.
