That is only 1 reason why it shouldnt be sold for a lot, the other is that the identical armor will be dropped soon with the same color and potential enchantments soon.
Why would you pay 3 stacks for something that you can get for free as a level 30?

Locking it doesn't leave room for questions.
They're never going to get answered if not given the proper attention.

 

I completely agree with u that collectors items like this should not be sold for tons of Le but I thought that the powders were going to add elements to weapons not enchants so doesn't that make it a small bit more valuable if an item is enchanted?

 

Well none the less, I sold my armor and got the money back that I paid (a little less unfortunately) and have since apologized to Selvut.
I'm done with this war.

Luckily my first time encountering this armor was 2 days ago and I'll never touch it again.

You guys just ruined the value of a cool item and you should Start realizing that a Lot of people will get mad once they realize that their rare Set that they own for a While now is worth notjing anymore Because you guys made the items drop. This is just unfair for the People playing this game long and deserving to have something that is rare and worth alot.

Just give the new Sets another Color..like with ghostly armor. I dont like this Changes and i dont Support them even tho I never bought an armor from one of the merchants. And dont get mad, I know your points. I have a White armor Named "Black armor "myself so I understand what you are after.

Well, high levels can grind for the armor, and make it to where it's unidentifiable from the old, rarer set. Thus making stacks upon stacks of LE without much effort. And It's not that useless, it's considered a collectable, and if you did get the old set, good for you! And if they made the older version a different color than the newer one, with the same ID's, what's the point. In the end it's still Nether Armor. So what if it's a different color.

 

This didn't just happen, its been this way for months it was just never addressed.
This is also not what we're debating.

Mods dont choose the way the game gets updated. We keep the server healthy even if it means people get mad at us once in a while. Keeping people from selling items for stacks of le that can be gotten as a drop from a level 30 is our main concern.

 

Yea I understand that but lets be real for a Moment. How many People did even think about doing this? Also... I can just dupe items, which is also a Bug, and drag down the price by throwing for example stratiformis around ...

1 question though, how did people enchant their old armor? Why did the enchantment not disapear when they had to re-identify the armor when the gavel update was launched?

They just put a powder on It and then it was enchanted

 

I know but every other enchant disappeared after the gavel update but that one stayed. Or did they do it after the update?

After reading this and understanding that in future updates the mobs will continue to drop dyed armour I must apologize for replying with my comment about 9000 year alien shit.
