Anyways, this is something based off of screw attacks "reasons we hate" series. This one was fairly short, but I'm planning to do longer ones in the future. If you have a suggestion, be sure to tell me!

Plus it sounds like you got your ass kicked to some apoc build and (somehow) a pure build.

 

There are so many topics and nitty grittys about mythics to complain about. You have barely scratched the surface. This series seems interesting, but do more research and be more thorough in your explanation.

Okay, but you could've been more thorough in your explanation as to why they suck. What about them makes them so op? Why do they effectively hurt the market? Why are the textures so confusing. List examples and reasons. Tell me, what makes an apocalypse and pure build so over powered?

 

I have a few reasons to hate em. First off, some of them are ridiculously powerful. For example, look at Az, the lv 74 bow that does more damage without a build than the lv 90+ legendary bows with a build. I personally think the drop rates are actually too high. If you just look at archer alone, you can see the pure power of the Mythics. Each one has its own build around it, and they all do absurd amounts of damage. Secondly, they make the game so much easier. When you can dish out 20k damage spin attacks, I think there’s a problem. They’re much too powerful for their drop rates, and the drawbacks aren’t harsh enough. (except for maybe Grandmother. Totally not saying that because I have a build centered around it). Lastly, when it comes to ID’s, you just gotta hope and pray. You get decent ID’s, you can sell for a decent price. Nothing that’s too absurd. You get maxed ID’s, and you can basically buy whatever the fuck you want. You get minimum ID’s, you cry yourself to sleep. You’re gonna get a stack of LE for that thing. And that stack of LE is going to go into a single top tier item, because that’s what this market has become. Its become purely centered around maxed items. (Getting off topic, story for later)

 

You forgot to mention the Alkatraz builds that do 60K+ damage, in fact, I think certain Alkatraz builds can do more damage than Apocalypse/Pure builds combined, blame tier attack speed.

Someone wanna tell me what a pure build is? :) (like give me a specific build, i need one D:)

 

Mythics are a new type of item since the gavel update but they are really powerful, and that's why their so expensive lmao... Especially with the right type of gear/accessories you can do insane amounts of damage that raw spell dmg wasn't able to do.

pure sux and apoca/alka/everyop mythic or even unique/rare build is only op because of tier attack speed

I've got a reason to hate em too. I got one during a guild war. Rip stax of le.

 

like I said on many weapon suggestions before gavel, op items can be balanced by rarity, but only up to a certain point, mythics are way over that point.

 

AZ, Grimtrap (to some degree) and any weapon that does over 1250 damage is OP in my eyes. But what about the decent mythics though? I don't think I've ever heard about anyone complain about the Monster wand before. Mythics should be a somewhat better than legendaries to the point where they are optional endgame gear. As for the money stuff, well, that involves the economy which as we all know if very strange around here.
