Once again, the moderators as a whole have determined that dyes on the armor do not affect their prices, nor do any effects from previous updates such as leftover enchantments, as they do not affect gameplay in a meaningful way and you can get the same thing easily.

 

But moderators don't set the market, people do. If you want to fix it re-introducd dyed armor to make the price go down. If a rare trading card is selling for a lot, can the company just tell people to sell it for cheaper? No, they have to reprint the card.

And I have no bias as I have never owned adventurer's armor.

I can only sell it for 1 LE apparently, and at that price no one will ever be able to buy a set of this armor, because people like me that own it will never sell it.

 

I would not even hazard that a perfect Adventurer's Armor set would sell for 1 LE due to its rather meager abilities and how common it is. The other moderators came to a consensus that the cosmetic dyes and enchantment effects on armor do not affect their value since you can obtain the same thing without the cosmetics, and thus the price will not be higher than a set you can just find.

It is worth more to me than it's armor abilities and identifications. It reminds me of the beginning of Wynncraft and how the server used to be. Sure it may not have statistical value, but it does have emotional value to me and many other players of the game. That is why we members of the server value it so highly. To sum up, none of the new players or anyone else will have the chance to obtain these nostalgic sets of armor anymore. Those of us that own them will keep them to ourselves, since the price of 1 LE isn't worth giving up our emotionally valuable item.

 

And once the glitch causing leather armor to always drop undyed gets fixed, you will have it again. Any time, around Lv 30. The exact same thing.

 

People will sell undyed armor then lol

 

AND when the dyed armor comes back into the game (probably 5 years from now at the rate things get fixed) THEN the armor's value will decrease.
Supply and demand my friend.

 

Hence, the moderators' decision that since dyes do not affect gameplay at all, they do not add value to the item. Exactly to circumvent this.

 

It doesnt need to effect game play to have value.
Being enchanted alone raises its value. BEING UNOBTAINABLE RAISES ITS VALUE. Common sense really :)
