Warrior Vs. Assassin

I don't mean it that way... I mean their weapons have the worst stats therefore they are the worst weapons...

 

Cough Chakram and Bob's Mythic cough

 

Warrior is known for defense, but if you think about it, warrior has 5/5 defense and assassin has 4/5. Although 5/5 is very good, 4/5 defense isn't much worse. Its basically switched defense and damage for those two skills.

Heres some pros-cons i can come up with.

Assassin
Pros:
-Most Damage Per Second (DPS) in game.
-Can vanish away and run to escape
-Can vanish behind a ranged mob to attack with a spell
-Can use spell combinations while staying in vanish until a spell is casted
-Lv. 46 assassin gets jump boost 2 and speed 3 in vanish, letting it be able to climb mountains a lot easier than warrior.

Cons:
-Lowest range in the game
-Most mana-needing class
-Lack of beginning mobility
-No effects that stay for a long time. (ex. archer's speed)

Warrior:
Pros:
-Very good defense
-Decent damage
-Good early game and late game mobility spell
-Get strength/resistance effect

Cons:
-Kinda bad range compared to mage or archer, but better range than assassin
-Can't use charge to climb mountains as easily as assassin's Vanish III
-Generally Slow
-Generally Slow weapon attack speed

 

They don't specially have worse stats than Warrior.

 

Nvm, just ignore my post... :P, I can't seem to explain it...

 

If you mean damage,using Oak Wood weapons or Bob's mythic for example,assassin has the 2nd strongest weapons.
If you mean ids/elemental stats,it's not worse than any other.

 

So again just to clear this up, I would like to be able to kill bosses quickly. This was the main purpose of this thread. I'm thinking about making a Boss Fighting Section in my shop, but 1v1ing Qira with Mage and dying after 30 sec. changed my mind about my class selection.

Which one can kill a boss faster? Warrior or Assassin?

Assassin. I prefer damage over defense.

 

But the warrior's mythics and special builds are able to produce a hefty amount of both damage and mobility, right? (COUGH COUGH ALKATRAZ AND THUNDACRACK)

 

Exactly why they need a nerf.

You got it right. Its kinda easy to tell as assassins are typically people who kill others while warriors are your typical heavy armor dudes.
Note: Warriors have a natural 120% defense giving them around 20ish free defense points

 

Assasin!!! Look, Warrior is the tankest class, just because they have the highest amount of weapon health. doesn't mean they are the best.
they are that way cuz their attack is shit, and assasin is the strongest. lots of people complain about assasin. but you need to give it abit more tactics
for example: Weapon swaping, i swap a reaper of soul and a olux prized dagger

Olux prized Dagger: Attack

(Close to max life steal) Reaper of soul: Health.

for my part, i'm a lvl 80 warrior ans i can't do anithing in front of my friend who play a lvl 74 mage, how many damage i deal to him, he have just to heal hime self to regen full, add to this the control capacity and the mobility of the mage, how can you kill him. He can beat easly my other friend who is an assasins lvl 82.
For me the answer at the question "Who win between warrior an assasins: Mage"

 

warrior completely overthrows assasin due to the fact that theres alkatraz builds which provide damage and warrior being a tanky based class.

 

wats the 1st and 2nd strongest weapon in the game ?

 

So, due to a Mythic that...

A) Is Super Slow attack speed
B) Reduces walk speed by half
C) Locks you into dealing a single element of damage
D) Has a ridiculously high skill cost that forces you to build around earth-related items
E) Is prohibitively rare

...Assassin is weaker? Due to a single item that has all of those balancing factors?


Archers can go full-on tank and be effective. Just because a class's base skills lean towards one direction does not mean you have to follow that. Assassin builds can certainly keep up with that, with much fewer restrictions. Full-tank Assassins can be rather frightening. Any fully-realized build from any class is rather imposing. One single weapon for one single build will not affect much.
