You should look into antiques.
Those old items that are no longer made and go for thousands, even millions of dollars IRL.
Those were once purchased for only a few cents back in the day. But because they are no longer obtainable, have one hell of a value.

The same rule of thumb goes for nether armor and other unobtainable items.

As I said before, the nether armor was removed long ago, the high prices have been up for too long to just get shot down like that.. The people who are the current owner of Nether armor are most likely to have bought It for the "high" price It has.
So saying that people bought It for 32eb so It should be worth that much won't work..

Just be honest... The main issue here is that you either can't afford the armor, or are too cheap to pay the correct amount for it.
