And who cares about that ? Hes a random player after all and unless Jumla says that they will put the dyed sets back into the game the price shouldn't drop that hard. No, I'm not saying that. A moderator is telling me not to sell a set of Dyed Adventurer's Armor that I have for more than 1 LE. So according to @Selvut283 , it is illegal for me to sell my Dyed Adventurer's Armor. I'm planning on selling all my items and restarting the server. So the question is, would I rather throw away the set of armor, or sell it for 1 LE. The answer is that I would rather throw it out. I'm on your side of this @Terunalix . They shouldn't be able to place restrictions on the market...

 

The thing is it doesn't matter if he's a mod, no matter how much he says items are worth its ENITRELY up to the community of people who own the item to sell it for a certain amount, nothing the mods can say will affect anything unless they threaten to ban everyone who sells dyed nether armor for more than an le

I'm with you, you can't just put restrictions on certain items. Like if you want an item to decrease in value because it should be available to everyone but isn't because of a bug, here's an idea FIX THE BUG

 

Where's your argument here? So what if he's a mod? You're only going to listen him hmm? Many people here have pointed out that you were incorrect and might I imply that Acer even said that we were pointing out your mistake in the marketing value. Acer is a mod right? I know what he said...I read his post, but EVEN HE can't change prices just like he wants. The thing is, he says like, dyed Netherarmor isn't worth that much. The only thing all owners have to do now is just don't selling the Nether armor for less that 4 Stacks or so which would mean, the price doesn't drop. If you want dyed Netherarmor for 1 le and say " It's not worth more", they just won't sell it and you or Selvut just cant do anything against it. I am sure there are/will be collectors that will pay that much, and as long as the few owners of the old dyed Netherarmor doesn't go down w/ their prices, the price for them will stay as high as he was before Gavel update

 

I can sell you my old nether armor... for 15 stacks of le

 

Now, even I would say that's a bit too far. It's not like I'm new or anything, I have had nether armour way before Gavel so it's not like I'm one of those people who just want the price to decrease for selfish purposes. But it's still a bit too far saying 15 stacks.

Let's take amiibos as an example. These nintendo toys had next to no stock and a very high demand, thus some people stocked up on them to resell. These people are known as 'scalpers'. When there is a high demand but little stock, some people are willing to pay anything for these rare items. If you don't like scalpers, don't buy from them.

Another example is a first edition trading card. If they reprint the card, it sill retains its value as the first print. It won't go down in value just because new, similar yet different versions were released.

Honestly... if a majority of the nether armor is successfully selling for 20+ LE, then no one can tell us not to sell it for that.
As long as the customers are willing to pay so much for said item, there is absolutely no reason for any of us not to sell it for that price.

If you all have an issue with the armor being too expensive, then either don't try purchasing it, or ignore the offers you don't wish to accept.
Arguing about the price of anything is pointless when the community deems said item to be a specific amount whether you agree with it or not.

And quite frankly, a moderator telling people not to sell an item for the amount it's worth is obnoxious in my opinion.
When the armor's value decreases, then so will the sale price. Until then, I blame no one for selling it for what it's worth. Look at horse's for example.

 

To be honest, i agree with Rini^ by here. Just because a moderator said that it values like nothing, doesn't mean that for the others values nothing. Some people are saying that dyed old nether armour is overpriced, some people not. We can't force the price like at 2 stacks or so, it depends on the seller. And i will say this again, for some people the armour values something for them, for some people it doesnt value anything.

Sell your armor for what the COMMUNITY deems it's worth.
Don't let someone sit here and restrict you from selling your items and especially just because they disagree with it's value.

I don't know your age nor do I care but you really are acting like a 5 year old, not listening to anyone, calling people stupid without reasoning, and just staying in your own mind set without consideration for anything else. It seems as though our arguments, and I can agree some may be mean, are not changing your mind BUT ALSO your and Selvurs argument aren't changing the sellers mind and they will continue to sell for stacks regardless of what you or anyone says until the Dye Bug gets fixed
