I never had those problems doing that quest 5 times except a few weird teleportations here and there. Never got stuck in the floor as well.

As for "you're not doing anything to get put in prison", I'm pretty sure walking to a private (I assume it's private, the lore didn't say if it was a public prison) property in real life would get you in a fair amount of trouble.

And the stealth sequence in Acquiring Credentials was nothing but a narrow corridor where you just hug the walls for the entirety of the hallway (except one part where you go between two guards in the most realistic way possible). This was done way better in the prison quest, where you actually have to hide between crates and use the terrain to your advantage. Makes you use your brain and not follow a light level on the ground .-.

    1. You should remember it by the 4th time
    2. Its a rectangle
    3. Forbidden Prison was our first attempt and made looong before AC, so sure it's probably done better but it's also just hugging a wall like @IllusionarySpy said.
Any problems with being able to walk past certain areas is a lag issue, which isn't a fault of the quest but the server.

Aldorei Two's easy enough if you've got Mage. Go on the first block, spam teleport so you go to the leaves under the door, teleport over to the other leaves, and then teleport into the door.

Taproot was alright - the parkour was a painful horror that made me want to tear my eyes out, and my soul through them, but the stuff where you go back into the past was pretty cool, very impressive. As for Forbidden Prison, it was interesting in terms of game mechanics, but it could've used some lore, and some clearer markings for what the dogs and guards were able to see. As for Clearing the Camps and Green Skinned Trouble, those were interesting enough, gave me a good look at Gavel.

Worm Holes was alright, but I wish the half-dozen or so holes didn't push you out before you do the quest - I died so many times due to that. The holes would push me out, into the swarm that chased me.

It's not just mages that can do the quest - Archers can jump onto the first block, jump off, and as they jump, escape to the exit. If Charge can shoot you vertically, then it can probably be used as well. Assassin... Let's not go there.

As for WH, the trail was relatively obvious, imo. It was pretty good in terms of during-quest stuff.

I forgot CF existed, it was too irrelevant...

As for Shattered Minds, I loved it. When I died, I respawned at spawn - more interesting than irritating. Hated the parkour, though.

It doesn't bring you higher than 3 blocks, but this is theoretically possible to skip completely (Not doing any jumps) on warrior with max intelligence, good mana regen, and charge lifting, or using a couple lucky lag boosts.

    ...Don't ask.

Isn't being able to beat the quest without the disguise a problem with the quest though? One of the stages requires you to get it, but I didn't and I still beat it.

I know exactly where the rocks are but it's tedious because there are barrier blocks forcing you to walk along the path. I can't go straight to the rocks because there are barriers that force me to walk for 6 minutes, even though I know where the rocks are.

For me, The Realm of Light is my least favorite. The guy literally tells you to "go out 3 times and kill stuff. this will take you a long time and you will die."
Even the wiki tells you to bring potions otherwise you will get "harassed" by the mobs.
Then you have to trek ~1000 blocks just to get to the end NPC for a minimal reward.

I haven't noticed this at all, hell I've spent upwards of 4 hours total looking for those rocks on various playthroughs (only took note of the exact location on the most recent) and the only barriers I ever encountered were in a rectangle enclosing the area that you need to search.

Last time I did the quest (around 3 weeks ago) there we barriers not too far from the path, so you were forced to follow it instead of just being able to walk to the rocks if you know where they are. I WISH it was just a rectangle of barriers, then I could finish the quest in like 6 minutes instead of 12. The path should only be there to show you where the rocks are and to take the scenic route the FIRST TIME. They should be an option, not mandatory. The barrier walls completely ruin the immersion. (So does doing the quest for the 4th time but that's besides the point *cough*)

I don't know why The Bigger Picture is here, I loved that quest, and I asked my guild and they liked it too. I have to say the forbidden prison is the worst. It had a somewhat new mechanic of sneaking past gaurds, but that was it, nothing worth while for that quest. And the Ultimate Weapon was kinda entertaining for me, the whole quest was intended as a joke, I didn't really mind the grind, and I got xp out of it as well.
EDIT: For some reason I feel that the star thief is a unofficial Part 1 for a quest that might come in the next update, that's just a theory though.

To be honest, I dont get the hate for Clearing the Camps and Taproot, they encouraged exploring and did a pretty damn well job at it. Forbidden Prison would be amazing (I love sneaking in games) but lag makes it a mess. Its not Bank's fault its the game's. That being said any of the Gavel quests are much better then Confused Farmer or Potion Making
