After reading some of the threads here, it came to realisation that although it's great to see boundaries crossed, rustic builds that match up with Wynncraft are the preferred types to see. I thought I'd try my hand a little more in-depth to this style and built a small house on a creative plot.
May I have some critique on what could be fixed with the exterior? I feel like it has a lot going on, but I'm trying to get to know how everyone prefers the rustic builds so I may improve. :)

I posted a small spawn build a few threads back last night which had a bit of the 'rustic' feel to it, but it wasn't a full trial of the style.

Pretty good, although it doesn't look as run-down as the leaves and greenery suggest. My suggestion is to either make the house look more run-down, or lessen on the greenery.

Too many leaves, check. :) Thank you. Will fix it up a lil bit.
Any thing wrong with the details in particular?

Here's a little bit of a fix up. More oak, drastically taken out leaves, and tried to fix up the mess a little. Hopefully I can eventually get the hang of what rustic is in its requirements. :D

The build quality is good, the shape is great, the roof could use some droop towards the center, the main issue is that it's just a house, It's not that that's a bad thing, just try to add a distinguishing feature like a pond, a water wheel, maybe a stable or a shop. Your building ability is great, it just needs to be put to creative use. 92/100

    Roofing, will fix, cheers. :)
As for the placed context-- yeah, I'll stick it in one in time, I just wanted to get a feel for how rustic houses are structurally configured. Thanks for the feedback! :)

The cobblestone outline of the roof is pretty basic, and the roof is too, it doesn't look wynncraft-y but I like the rest.

True. I could probably replace it with a more interesting material. Thanks. :)

They're interesting interpretations... but I'd say the first one's shape makes me a little uncomfortable as an example(just an inkling feeling), and the second one doesn't have enough material variety for roof to house contrast for my type of building/style. I do respect that we have different tastes regardless, and it is good as your style. :)
Overall though, it does point me more in the direction to focusing on the roof, as I had lacked doing so in my build.
Cute houses though, nice one. Thank you for providing me with some inspiration and feedback on the topic. Much appreciated.

Roofs are a common issue for many people, I'm going to put together a thread with some of my favorite examples later, I'm not big on the examples @Mouse :) gave, but they do demonstrate the idea.

That would be great Nitronicraft. I'm sure people would benefit from a collaboration brought forward to them. :)

You gave 'em to me as roof examples, what'cha mean you didn't try? D: I'd love to see some roofs that you have tried on as examples then. :)

Here's one of mine with a bit more shape to the roof. Still kinda basic, and with the cobble outline (not to mention it's not rustic), but regardless, it's interesting making all the angles kinda match up together throughout the build. It's a start in a sense. Since joining and posting a couple times on here for feedback, I've felt I have gathered some lovely criticism to take on board in future. Thank you for all the comments. :)

This may or may not be a good example for your style of build,
Do you have a server/realm (trial possibly)?

Mine? Haha, I've always wanted to give shaders a go... but my poor little potato would probably be a cooked chip if I tried them out. xD

I've actually got an NVIDIA on mine, but it's just not quite enough for a playable experience. I haven't really tried it, to be honest... but my framerate is pretty average as is without them. xD

Intel has good frames, I get 80 fps on my laptop with it, unfortunately it makes shaders unusable.
