Media Unofficial Wynncon 2016 ( Shopkeepers Needed)

Hello Wynncraftians!

As you may remember, @LordMuttonChops, @DJKreeper, @Oryx, @RainbowSlug and myself are hosting an unofficial Wynncraft Convention this summer called "Wynncon"! We are pleased to announce the remarkable progress we are making and that Wynncon will be something to remember! With that being said, we have also completed the marketplace and are looking for shopkeepers! We are set to have 8 stands so that means we need some people to fill them!

If you or your small group of friends would like to sell items at these stands during
Wynncon please PM @DJKreeper:

• What items you are planning on selling​
• Price you are charging for items​
• How many friends you are planning on bringing with you (if any)​
• Any other information you believe he should know​

Note: Selling in-game items for real life currency is strictly forbidden!​

 

What exactly would you sell? It's not like you can bring WC items to this server.

 

You would have alternatives, like a paper with the name of the item, then you preform the trade in Wynn.

 

I feel that this type of announcement doesn't really need its own thread...

 

Agreed. The wynncon thing is just chain spamming the forums rn.

P.S. Highly doubt itll work since yosterics internet shit itself in the test run and his server was laggy af.

The testing actually went great, after the initial shock of everyone joining and staying in one area, the server was quite smooth.

P.S. And I would call Wynncon anything but spam.

 

Give us a break, we've been working very hard on this event, and you should be grateful that we aren't making one for every new thing that comes along.

 

That's even more reason. You're not a Wynncraft Developer, so this teaser isn't even about the next update or anything, and this thread barely contains any valuable content. It's just saying 'PM a person who didn't make this thread and talk to them, while I get the credit of announcing it'. That's how I read this thread, and I am sure, others have as well.

 

Would you do it during the wynncon or after, because if during, that's like never any shopkeepers in the wynncon

 

The in game trades will happen after the event.

 

Yea, I heard yost talking in TS about how great it was. Although im not sure a block breaking delay of 8 seconds when everyone was in one place isn't succesful.

That would mean the server only crashing once or twice is just a minor hiccup.

We get that the server isn't too efficient, but we're working on it.

 

How would I get on Wynncon? Is it a server? On wynncraft? Im confused

P.S. once you reply if i can (depending ^^) i would be happy to run some stands. Ill get some sweg legendaries to sell. prices negotiable
