Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Wait, she has?"
I say, standing up and flying into the air.
"Shit."
I'm clearly worried.

 

"We need to get you to a medic. Unless you have a better idea, that's the only option. We'll have to go to Reen, the place I was captured." I rip off some of the attackers clothes and start to stop the bleeding.

 

"Serves that fool right." I comment, before putting it back and grabbing another book.

"You started it, did you not? And let me remind you that The Big Three aren't here."
OOC: Ok, pissed off Ruby. Next target: Ihra

 

Seems the wound isn't bleeding.
It's frozen.
"Thanks, but... there's no way any human here... would be willing to help me... if they're like you say. I'll make it..."

It's a collection of the royalty's wills.
Of course, there's nobody that can fulfill them now.

"Nope, you were going to sell me out. The Big Three won't matter. I almost killed one, and that was while holding back. While you've been arguing with yourself, I've been gathering energy. Now, let's just put this crap behind us and act like this tension isn't here."

 

I read through them each to see which one I can possibly do. "Might as well do something than bore myself out in this library..."

"Aye." I say, unfazed. "Well if you don't mind me, I'm off to do some stuff." I then take off and land as far as possible form the group while still able to see them.

 

All of them are
"Kill the beast who took our lands"
"Kill the beast who laid ruin to our world"
"Kill the beast who defiled our god"
"Kill the dragon who rules the Void"
In the last note, there is a dagger with wisps of dried blood.

Reed's too big for most of that.
"Everything okay?"

 

"Interesting..." I say, taking the dagger and examining it. "Of course, I will not kill Mistress Xlentia" I say, as if to ward off anyone listening.

"Huh? Oh, yes. I just need to focus on my other body."

"Say, do you want to kill Xlentia?"

 

It's razor sharp, cutting you with the slightest touch.
The wound barely bleeds, but it doesn't heal.

"This is...interesting." I say before sheathing the knife. "This might come in useful next time I get in a fight."

One problem; it cuts the sheath. It's held loosely by the handle...

"What on earth is with this godforsaken knife?! This thing is sharper than my sword!" I exclaim in a fit of anger before deciding to just tie a string around it and wear it as a necklace.

"Oh my, just a certain special thing I found in the palace library." I say, teasing Reed.

 

"They... fell..."

She smirks.
The ghosts implode.

"The hell did you find that?" Emily asks, worried."

"Who are you?" I ask.
OOC: This is the first time my character has met Emily btw.

"Or maybe it isn't." I say, this time sounding ominous.

 

"Are... you okay?"
OOC: Emily was the draconian at the Archives

"Yes I am, and who are you?"
OOC: That was Arnold visiting the Archives. Also, the last time my character was in the library was when he was still a totem and when Ruby was still working there.

OOC: I'm awake. Oops.
"Emily, the Archivist. Where did you get that artifact?"
She's keeping her distance.

"This is an artifact? Mind telling me about it first?"

OOC: *at roughly 11PM*

"Only if you hand it over. Slowly, and carefully..."
She uneasily holds out her claw.
Other nearby draconians look up to see what's going on and flee.

"Fancy... What kind of artifact is it?"

 

"I know what's going to happen, and know what this is already from the reactions happening. This is a very dangerous and powerful knife, is it not? And once I hand it over to you, you'll either keep it in some kind of vault or destroy it." I say, still holding onto the knife.

"A knife." I whisper, teasing him again.
