Lore/Story They Come.......(short Story)

    As night settled, the guards of Ragni closed the gates. The king watched them as they closed the gates, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw a figure move swiftly in the darkness of night. The king thought something, but then again, he was old and he was probably seeing things. The king went to his room in his castle only to hear a shriek of both terror and pain. The king of Ragni then called the guards and rushed into his bedroom only to find out his wife had been murdered.........




    This was a nice short story and it kinda relates why we don't see the Kings wife

    Nice emphasis on foreshadowing, but I can't really critique this any more unless it's expanded on.
