Attack Speed Upgrade?

I've heard about these armors that upgrade attack speed.. And I kinda really want some, but I have no idea which ones give it, or give the most.. Can someone enlighten me ?

 

First off, the +/- Tiar Attack Speed ID does not actually increase or decrease the Attack Speed of your weapon. It increases/decreases your Spell Damage. (Don't ask me why it's like this.)
Mummy's Rag is a pretty well known one.
Breezehands is an accessory that I've heard increases it as well.
There are also weapons like Return to Ether that increases it by 1-2 stages too.

 

Actually, the attack speed does work now (well at least for me and mai maelstorm), as in gives more attack speed (my fast [like fatigue 4] turned into super fast [haste 2]). But it still increases your spell damage. I can get a screenie or somethin if you want.

 

Does it actually shoot faster than a normal Fast Tier item?
Having the ID does give Haste, but it doesn't actually increase the speed it attacks at when I tested it. It just looks like it's swinging faster.

 

All items that give attack speed give at maximum 2 (all give base 1.) (both with the exception of Cancer) Here is a list of armor as far as I know that boost attack speed:
Breezehands - ring
Clock Boots - boots
Electrocharge Greaves - leggings
Mummy's rag - chestplate
Chestplate of Ineptitude - chestplate
Cancer - helmet - gives like max 13 tiers or something

I might be forgetting some.
anyway, as stated in previous posts attack speed tiers boost your spell damage as well as increase the speed at which your weapons swing. (It is currently bugged so that hits register at the same rate as normal.)

It works for me, I have a super fast Bob's dagger that does work :/ and Chakram works too

 

it only increases speed at which the weapon attacks, not the actual speed that the hits register.

 

The attack speed does register for me tho :/

 

Just tested it with a +2 Tier Tisaun's Proof on my Knight. Didn't exactly see any changes in the attack speed. It might just be for some people if we're all on the same page here.

 

Huh. That is wierd....

 

Attack Speed is bugged for melee, the animation appears to be attacking faster but the damage will not register, however since attack speed is a multiplier in spells they will increase the spells damage by a lot
