"You won't be the only one. Some of us don't sleep. Including me."

 

"Oh? Why's that?"

 

"Just... Reasons."
I try located his face and looking at it.
"There's a lot of stuff you don't know about this group, Reed. If it's for the better or the worse, I'm not sure. Everyone has their own secrets."

 

"Well, mine can't hide."

 

"Sure they can."
I say, more lightly.
"If someone were to see you for about a week, they probably wouldn't think you were once part of a hive mind."

 

"Oh... Right."

 

"Whether it's little or big, everyone has their own secrets, and own things they'd rather not share. Often, those things might weigh them down, but rarely, they can lift a person up. Typically, though, when someone has something positive, they share it, whatever it might be. So, there aren't very many positive secrets. But bad secrets, they can really hurt someone. They can hurt someone that you don't want to hurt, or they can hurt yourself, in a way that cannot be fixed, because it is a secret. Sometimes, you just need to look at a person a different way to see how many secrets they hold. You won't know the secrets, unless they tell you, but you can at least understand the person a bit better. It's not a very hard thing to do, Reed."
Pause.
"Apple?"
I ask, offering him one.

OOC: Has it been three days yet?

 

"I can't eat like this."

Just about.

 

"Alright. I'll offer you one again in the morning."
I go back to just relaxing in the pool.

 

"I can create winds like the one I created earlier, except stronger. If I want to, I can just create storms or tornados around me. I can also freeze things with my breath. Having metallic scales helps too."

OOC: Would Daras and Eras be there because Reed is or are they behind him by now?

Arnold continues reading the memoir.

"Thank you!"
She goes to the changing rooms.
A few minutes later, she comes out in a dark purple swimsuit.

OOC: Any flowers still around?

 

"Hmm...why just a memory?" I say, summoning a camera.

I focus, and a portal opens up beside my hand. I put the camera through, and another portal opens up at the end of the spring. A different hand holds the camera.

"Say cheese!" I say happily.

Stephanie moves next to you.

"Wow...that's awesome." I say.

"I guess you'll make good protection." Artemis says, smiling at Reed.

OOC: I believe there's a red one left.

"Come on in, the water's lovely!" Abigail says happily.

"Well, I'll be taking my leave now. Till next time." HH says, before jumping through the portal that nobody seemed to mention or remember was there.

 

"Oh...bye, I guess." I say, confused.

Artemis glances at your other body, "What was all that about? Why do you have to leave?" Artemis asks.

"Maybe we shouldn't question the motives of an evil doosh who's out of our hair." Abigail says, relaxing in the spring; only her head above the water now.

 

"My other body has business to do. I was hoping he could get something forged before he had to leave, but I'll guess I'll just give it to him when I drop by where he is."

 

"It's kind of weird how the pair of you control like separate consciousnesses." Artemis comments, before relaxing.

"Is he one side of your personality? Or perhaps simply another?" I ask.

"I think I'm in love with him." Abigail says.

Artemis and I look at Abigail in shock.

"He has such a punchable face. How can you not love someone who functions as a living punching bag?" Abigail says, grinning.

 

I climb out the hatch on the top to look around.

 

"You haven't seen his fa-wait, you have. Well, I just personally think you should use a less risky vocabulary. As for your question Aj, in a sense, yes. It has something to do with how we have different brains, and we've experienced different things. This body has spent pretty much it's whole time with the group, causing it to be, to say the least, friendly and sociable. The other body spent majority of its time sitting in isolation, occasionally reading and talking. Nothing more, nothing less."

 

"Were you also like this when you were Rob? Or is the other guy Leo?" I ask, curious.

"Whoa, you have a family? Sorry for intruding. I'm not going to try and steal you or anything." Abigail says apologetically.

"That's ironic." Artemis says to herself, grinning and relaxing.

 

"That's...complicated at best, Aj. How is it ironic anyways, Artemis? Also, is it s good idea to fuse a soul with a dagger? Cause my other body is naggin-I mean requesting me to ask about it."
