Translation For All The Quests In Mandarin | 中文 : 2/51 Quests!

Actually I have used translation engines enough to find a way to work around them always failing. If you want you can try it: Do one sentence or a few words at a time, I have conversed to people from other countries with this method and it seems pretty darn reliable.

Still, a human translator is superior at these period of time to translation engines. We would prefer the translation to have a human touch and a human being that will check that it makes sense rather than have an automated system do it without any checking whatsoever.

 

I understand, I never intended on contributing to a translation thread as I don't speak any of the languages that threads are made for

Translation engines are in general quite poor. They're decent if you have enough knowledge of the language to understand if the converter is correct (Aka what I do, as I can read pinyin, but can't read the actual characters), but poor otherwise. You also need to be very accurate - Excellent will be mistranslated, Very Good will not be mistranslated (From my experience with GT).

Stage One/第一阶段：

Irlok: 欢迎来到失落神庙，这座神庙是为了引导那些死后的灵魂
Irlok: 但是有一只怪物拥有着强大的力量，到现在我们也没办法杀死它
Irlok: 如果你能献身替我们杀死他，我们将提供最高奖赏，但是有一点我要提醒你，这只怪物非常可怕
Irlok: 峡谷里已经有很多人死于它手上，所以我们要铲除它
Irlok: 我们尝试把这只怪物封印在一个山洞里，但是它依旧会威胁到我们。
Irlok: 他就在峡谷下的一个山洞。如果你跟着路下山，你会找到一个废弃的矿洞。这样吧，我把地点写在你的书上。
Irlok: 如果你成功了，就跟我刚才说的一样，我们将提供最高奖赏。祝你好运。

Stage Two/第二阶段

寻找在矿洞里的怪物

剧情：
当你走进去，那只怪物就在你的眼前，他机械般的转过头，面目狰狞，然后消失了....
一眨眼，它就在你面前，你只看到一张非常可怕的脸，然后你就失去了意识....
你的灵魂被带走了。

Stage Three/第三阶段

你回复了意识，你醒过来了，你发现你在庭院里，但是你觉得有点奇怪....因为你看到的所有东西都是灰色的，就仿佛跟死去了一样，而且在庭院正中间有一座雕像——死神的雕像
“我死了？这是死神的别墅？这里是哪里？” 你的脑中充满了各种疑问，但是你知道...死神一定在这栋别墅里。于是你带着好奇心进去了别墅。

进去别墅后
Death：看来又有新来宾了，欢迎。
Death：你将会在这里待一段时间，所以好好休息下吧。
Death：我知道没有东西能阻止你的好奇心，但是我希望你不要碰任何东西，而且进来的时候记得拖鞋
Death：当你整顿好后来我办公室谈谈，就在楼上。

进去食堂：
Death：我建议你不要吃食堂里的任何食物，因为这是为了临终的灵魂准备的。
Death：如果我还有早上买的小麦，我会提供饼干来安慰临终的灵魂们。
Death：不过很可惜，他们说要我做巧克力片。

进去图书馆（The libary part was missing from wiki.. RIP）

Death: 这有点奇怪，因为除了我们两个，其他我见过的人就像重复播放的录音带一样。

Stage Four/第四阶段

你听到有玻璃破碎的声音，而且你看到了就在外面，有着一扇门，跟这个世界截然不同，因为那扇门充满生机，跟这个世界成了鲜明对比。你跳了下去别墅，朝那扇门走了过去....

Death：好，你决定离开了。
Death：我很高兴你又回来了一次。
Death：要重新面对人生，你需要打败哪个把你送到我手里来的人。
Death：我不明白你为什么要这么做。毕竟，你一直在死亡边缘徘徊。
Death：...或者你知道，不。我喜欢在这个渺无生机的地方有一点色彩。

Stage Five/第五阶段

你回到了那个洞窟，Krolton，那只可怕的怪物还在那里，你拿好了身上的武器，准备跟它同归于尽。
“既然我已经死了，再死一次也无所谓...” 你一边小声的自言自语，一边把支撑整个洞窟的柱石打断了，洞窟已经在坍塌，接着你再次失去了意识...
等你恢复了意识后，你人已经在失落神庙，手上拿着Krolton的遗骸。

Stage Six/第六阶段

你拿着打败Krolton的证明给Irlok

Irlok：欢迎回来，我承认，我没话说，因为你做到了。
Irlok：说实话，Krolton是我见到过最强大的怪物，在你之前已经有过百位的勇士前去尝试但是都有一个活着没回来过。
Irlok：所以我代表失落神庙，我想你带上这个做为你的回报。
Irlok：这个戒指可以做为你的旅程的标志。
Irlok：希望你不会再有面对Krolton那种遭遇。

Hello, I need help on translating two words. How do you translate Corruption and Decay?

Corruption: Province of Wynn from Nether
Decay: Province of Gavel

 

Erm I WOULD help but I'm not that good with writing,

 

The only reason why it takes time to translate, is because of the quest itself im guessing? having to go threw all of the dialogue? if it was on the fourms i could easilly just google translate lmao

 

mmhm that's right, also i'm working on some other projects right now so i really don't have much time

When we (my team at least) get to a word we aren't sure how to translate we ask the other members of the team and choose the most fitting suggestion.
An example would be emeralds, emerald has four translations in Hebrew while decay (in the form used in gavel) doesn't really have a word so we used a word for natural decaying (of leaves and such).

 

hmmmm... ok... I guess it would be hard for us to find COOL way to say corruption and decay. (Both are not cool in wynn. They are annoying lol)

 

Don't use google translator... There is nothing good about using google translator... They don't have passion.
