Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"How did you like my mind? Are you scarred yet?" I respond, "I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't search through my brain in the future, by the way."

 

"I ignored the bits I didn't want to see. I just retrieved the answer. And I won't, as long as you don't confuse me too much with... well... a response."

 

"Well, I think it's fairly obvious to the big orange dog that the gun sandwich stole your hat's socks!" I respond, shifting between shadow tongue and regular speech.

 

"Not even going to try..."

 

"There wasn't any logic to that sentence. Be glad I didn't give you a paradox to deal with," I respond, "So...you feeling any better, champ?"

 

I walk over to AJ and whisper to him,
"With infatuation or as a person? Because I can tell you right now the world's going to have to pull off something huge if the former will ever happen."

 

"So...you don't share the same feelings as her? She's kind of fallen in love with you." I whisper back.

 

"I mean,"
I shrug.
"It's as close as a robot with extensive knowledge can get to love, probably. But if your suspicions are correct, it's nowhere near her's."
I continue whispering.

 

"Well...you should probably tell her before it gets too late. I think she's really fallen in love with you, so you probably want to state your feelings, or lack of them, before she gets too deep." I whisper back.

 

"Still trying to move. Is it working?"

 

"Let me check." I respond.

I head over to Ruby's lava pool, looking to see if Ruby is moving.

 

"Well, I don't know what to tell her. This isn't any movie, and it's not like I was built with any romantic advice in mind. I'm just really not sure what to say, or even how I feel just yet. I'd rather give it time."
I say, following you to the pool.

 

"Well, alright. Just...try to act friendly, but not too friendly. Tell her when you think the time is right; just don't wait too long." I whisper back.

 

"Right."
I finally whisper, before walking off.

 

With his free, non-vibrating hand, he punches the ground, and then is still. He's changed his hardness and become impenetrable to immense amounts of force, but he also can't move. The bolts make loud thwacking noises when they make contact, and some spin and bounce off.

 

"What where you two whispering about?" Katie asks, curious.

"If we were whispering, don't you think it has a reason to remain private?" I reply.

"Awwww, come ooooon!" Katie says, annoyed.

"Thirteen and Stephanie, to put it simply." I say.

 

It isn't.
"Still really numb, but I'm trying."

 

"You're not moving...at all," I respond, "Hey, at least you're not either dead or overcharged, eh?"

 

"I bet you had so much fun hearing those two names together."
I say, not actually that far away, and coming closer now.

 

"You two are such a perfect pair for each other! Stephanie's clearly in love with you!" Katie says happily.

"You tell her." I say flatly.
