"A few hours. It won't take long to fly back, so we're fine."

"Thank you Saphi."
Arnold goes to the twentieth floor.

 

"Aj, I don't mean to burst your bubble, but you kinda said you could get out anytime you wanted, but you were just enjoying a conversation."

 

"I could, but it's better to come back full strength than wasting energy and coming back weaker." My voice echoes.

My shadow crystal disappears, and I appear next to Stephanie.

"See? Now I'm not weakened." I say.

 

"Alright."

 

"The Bor-Ka. I'm unhappy how they've ruined the reputation of the whole desert. My people want nothing more than to live in peace, but after many attacks from enemy tribes, we went to war with them. Eventually, we were attacked. I was greatly injured and was told to flee. Reluctantly, I did, and went to our ally's village. It was abandoned. I came here to track them down and find a way to make our enemy pay for what they did to my tribe and our ally."

 

I suddenly come over, half-running, half-boosting, and stop near DD, Aj, and the like.
It seems I got bored of just hearing you yell and watching.
I notice Stephanie.
"Hey, are you okay? Need anything?"
I ask her.

 

"I don't feel 100%..do you have anything...that could clear my head?" Stephanie says, rubbing her head.

 

"I... uh..."
Shouldn't have asked if there's anything I can do, because there's really not.
I think, before saying,
"Maybe you can lay down, and I can support you. Not the best thing in the world, but it might be the closest."
I smile.

 

"I...guess that might help..." Stephanie says, taking out a strange colour phial. The colour looks like a mix of green and purple.

Stephanie uncorks the phial and drinks it, before laying down.

 

I take out my rag.
I cup one hand in another cupped hand, and sit down, next to Stephanie.
I then fold the rag in a neat way on the top hand, using the previous bottom hand, then put the bottom hand back.
I put my hands under her head, and lift my hands up just enough so she won't have a sore neck when waking up, so it's like sleeping on a pillow, almost.

 

"Thanks..." Stephanie says, falling asleep.

Katie smiles at you. I nod approvingly.

 

I smile at Katie and you, then just go back to making sure Stephanie's sleeping soundly.

 

Stephanie inhales and exhales slowly, peacefully asleep. She seems to emit a soft glow of sorts.

I walk over to Katie and whisper something to her. Katie smiles, whispering back, before smiling at you again.

 

I smile again, but now curious as to what you said.

 

Stephanie starts breathing out a strange, dark fog. She remains asleep, yet the fog tumbles from her mouth down the sides of her head; and the glow she emits becomes a little brighter.

I whisper something to Katie again, and she giggles slightly.

 

I look at you two suspiciously, before using my bottom hand to touch the fog, keeping my mouth closed.

 

The fog seems to latch onto your hand; your skin turning black. Something tells you it's probably not a good idea to touch it.

Katie whispers something to me, and I glance at you and Stephanie, smiling. I whisper something to Katie and she giggles again.

 

Still keeping my hands under Stephanie's head, I maneuver over to behind her head, to avoid the fog.

 

With each exhale, more fog is released, and Stephanie's glow gets brighter. She remains peacefully asleep, unaware of what's happening.

In the fog, you notice what looks like a pair of red eyes; though it could be just your imagination.

 

"Okay, what is this?"
I say quietly to AJ and Katie.
