Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Gotta love war. That's when I first took to pyromancy; figured I'd start with my own element. That went on until I was one of twelve to learn all of my world's elemental magics. Aquos, Pyro, Cryo, Vulcan... Chrono is a separate species, and I don't trust myself to wield it."

You see her tail floating there.
"No."

 

He smacks the cup out of your hand onto the ground... or whatever it is. There's definitely a surface there, though.

"DON'T. CALL ME. THAT. EVER."

 

"Ok."

"You forgot that he's more dangerous than this body."

"Awh, that's a bad Luphyx wannabe. Cups are for drinking out of, not smashing!" I taunt, my grin clearly showing.

 

"Time is a dangerous aspect. I've killed a few with it, and many users of it in my world have been erased from a simple mistake," I respond, "But my question stands; do you want Myria to try and heal your hearing?"

"Oh...but he doesn't seem...too bad..." Katie says, unnerved by your statement.

 

"AHHHHHHHHHH--" THUMP

He headbutts you in the face.

 

"That may be, but looks can decieve. He's more of the evil side and I'm more of he good side."

I'm moved back a bit by the recoil, though it looks that I'm perfectly fine. "Ah, little Luphyx wannabe doesn't realize where my spear is." You just notice that I drew my spear as I was hit and thrusted it towards you.

 

"Well...Aj's an evil genocidal demon, and he's not so bad!" Katie says nervously, "He protects us, and make sure we don't come to harm! I'm sure if you were to try and hurt us, he'd stop you!"

 

"I don't think it'd matter. Up to her, but I can't afford to be in her debt, I fear."

 

"I want your help, but I don't know how we can defeat it. Whatever we do, it either comes back or survives."

"Oh? I don't think I saw that. She sounds very powerful... and I'm glad she uses her power for things like that."

OOC: I'm really confused which character I'm speaking with XD. I was speaking with Eras, but I guess I'll go with Daras.

"Do we exactly have time to do otherwise? I would let her take a look at this whole world, but by the time she's finished, it might not be here."

Arnold says to the voice, "Who killed you?"

 

He's too fascinated with the spear to argue.

"Woah... Cool..."

 

"You're in my debt, and I don't really care. She's a mother, I doubt she'd be more evil than I; or at least too vengeful." I respond.

"Also, might I ask how you're feeling right now? You've been in that lava pool for quite a while now." I add.

 

"That may be...that may be...and yet he attempted to kill two lovers with a broken past and a shattered man."

"Well, you like this spear don't you?" I say, grinning. The spear is inches away from your arm. "Maybe it would be better to see...inside of you." I continue, thrusting the spear into your arm. "Does Luphyx wannabe want to release me now? Or would he like something...more fatal."

 

"You mean Reed and those other two? I think he was just trying to protect us because they had only recently been trying to hurt us," Katie says, "And I don't think he tried to hurt the other two!"

 

He gasps, and grabs his arm below where you stabbed it.

"You..."

You realize that your own arm, the same that you just stabbed, is in the same pain he's feeling. It isn't bleeding or torn but... wow, does that hurt.

 

"He spoke of it to me. He and I wanted something out of the prisoners. He wanted entertainment from their deaths. I wanted a power source, though I backed out of that, and I assume AJ followed thereafter." I remain silent for a moment. "We can end this topic now if you want."

I dig the spear in deeper. "Ah, does Luphyx wannabe think that a little pain will stop me? How pathetic. I'm a soldier. Soldiers are trained to stand still while being assaulted by pain. "
OOC: Spear is in left hand, since my character always keeps his other hand free in case he draws his sword or crossbow.

 

Katie seems shocked, putting her hands to her head, "Stop lying!" She screams, "He's not like that! He wouldn't want that!"

 

OOC: You're consciously feeling yourself dig that spear into your own arm. That's what it feels like. Oh and just in case you're tempted, if you kill this kid... you'll die. Yep.

The world starts flickering, and the real ground and sky start to melt in. You see Thirteen standing nearby. You're back where you were... Sort of. It seems you're somehow not quite out and back in yet?

 

"Still thoroughly numb. I'm trying to move my tail. Is it moving?"

It's not.

"I'll find a way. I don't care if I cheat time by peering into the future until I die; I want to do something."

"She's so nice too. I don't understand why so many people want to kill her! She naps a lot, though."

"Fair point. Still... How much longer until she wakes up, and should we get her back to the group by then?"

"Yes, the original torched copy we found and the restored copy is in there. You've been granted access. Ask Emily about its location in there."
Pause.
"By the way, Saphi is what my... friends... called me."

 

"Hold on." I respond.

A slight redness appears on my shadow crystal on Stephanie's bracelet.

"No. I guess you really wore yourself out." I respond.

 

"The truth cannot be hidden." I reply, "We can drop the topic now if you want. We can stop advancing this to another level if you want. We can just forget about this conversation if you want."

OOC: I figured that one out, so I just decided to go for the arm. Also, since my left is his right, I'm technically feeling pain in my right arm, correct?
"Yes, that's good, Luphyx wannabe. Just release my fully...and this will stop..." I say, grinning evilly as I dig it in even more. "You can stop the pain any time you want." My right arm flinches.
