"Interesting." He nods, and then walks back to the trainer to presumably talk about something. "You're free to go, Jace! Just return the armor!" The trainer shouts at you.

You walk outside, again making no noise. The sun is rising. Seems you woke up early in the morning. Nothing life-threatening is happening as of the moment to you. You're probably safe.

Since you're in the forest, you're sort of looking at the light coming from above the canopy.

You continue your journey through the forest. After a while, you get to a small clearing. There is a large cliff on one side, with a waterfall cascading from it and into a river that runs through the clearing. There are several elementals floating and walking around. It's the village. Although it certainly doesn't look like one.

The water is drinkable. You can deduce from its warmth that if you follow it upstream, you'll probably find a natural hot spring. You half the meat, giving one half to Lykos and the other to Lang, and getting a small chunk for yourself. As you get up to look for

 

I ready my bow, and head out to go hunt, to feed for my self.

 

OOC:Oops,I was careless there ._. Totally forgot about that...

I walk closer to the river and sit down,then observe the flowing water and the elementals.'I am not sure if they can talk...Maybe I will just take some time to understand their movement.'

 

Arnold looks through the book to find out who the emperor was.

It's hard to tell. He's only referred to as "The General" or "The Emperor". Places where his name should be are simply fuzzy. Perhaps if you were to find this library, and to an extent this book in the real world, you'd find the name.

The elementals circle you. After a while, they return to what they were doing. It seems they're rather...apathetic.

You trek through the mist covered forest. After a while, you hear something in the distance. Sounds like...a deer.

 

I look around the library for any clues as to where it might be.

 

You walk around the library for a bit. You come up with nothing, though this library has a certain feel to it...you're not sure how, but it feels like you've been here before.
OOC: Any guesses on who the Emperor is? (I dunno, the answer seems obvious)

 

'....Talking probably isn't what I should do.'With that conclusion,I stand up,then walk along the outside of the village,trying too look for anywhere or anything suspicious or unique.'Since there is much less clues then I expected here,maybe some more exploration and I should set off again.'

 

OOC: Idk, none of the countries have had emperors as far as I know, but if I were to take a guess, Monster Empire's first ruler. Also, is the library meant to be the Void Rift library or somewhere else? Because for Arnold, these events are happening before Void Rift.

Arnold looks for another book which might be of interest.

 

It seems the edge of the village is the tree line. Nothing suspicious or unique, other than the elementals going in and out of openings in the ground.

OOC: Just a hint: The account of the battle is based on the real world. After all, what's to say the real world isn't just another dimension?

After browsing through some books, you come across a book on a shelf that looks interesting, reading a few pages, it seems to be another account.

 

I brace myself for an attack, using the projection to sweep and guard my back.
"I... I can't remember...

OOC: erhm?? XD Something here seems like it is not right :)
Maybe it is the unfinished sentence. No it can't be that. hmm i can't quite think of it.

 

'The elementals really are ignorant and loyal to the rules of nature,huh....'As I am about to set off,I remember something.I take out the mysterious knife and lay it on my hands while watching out for the sharp edge,in neither an aggressive or menacing manner.(like how one would hold an item when they present it to others,except I have no target to give the knife out to.)
'Maybe the elementals would react to the magic the knife emits....If that is the case,it might be possible to tell the type of magic that is within.'

 

OOC: I thought it might have been in the real world, but meh, school doesn't teach you about other countries, except Nazi Germany because logic and reasons.

Arnold reads the account.

 

You sweep it. He jumps over it. It seems he's still pointing his rapier at you, expecting an attack.

OOC: Woops, xD Just pretend it also says "nuts, you find that Nut has already gathered some. You and your companions eat and get some much needed rest."

An air elemental approaches you, looks at the knife, and then heads down into one of the holes. After a while, the air elemental and what you recognize to be a magic elemental approach you. The magic elemental begins examining the knife.

OOC: You got it good. I was pretty much the only kid who knew that World War Two started in Europe in Fifth grade. Everyone else said "It started when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor" Cause apparently The Philippines only becomes relevant once Japan bombs the harbor.

You pick up a book from a stack. Miraculously, it's an account about the account of the account. It speaks how the account you're reading is superior to the other account. Well then.

 

"WHAT THE ACTUAL-"
Arnold looks for a book which isn't an account to do with another account.

 

I tense,not daring to move.I quietly watch as the magic elemental examines the knife.
