Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I'm just about 6 feet above you, in a narrower circle by now.
One time, I'm circling around you, but instead of continuing the circle, I dive for you, left arm outstretched, and right arm, with my sword, ready to block.

 

I don't do anything, just stare at you, continuing to fire bolts.

 

I come closer, blocking and doing little moves to the left or right to dodge.
I then come really close to you, missing by about an inch,

But I grab your crossbow.

 

At that moment, I bring down my sword upon your arm while pulling my crossbow away from you.
OOC: Crossbow is in left hand, sword is in right hand, and spear is sheathed in cloak.

 

I shove your sword out of the way with my sword, and just carry on flying and circling.
"Caw!" I shout, imitating a bird.

 

"Caw my face" I say, summoning a lightning bolt and striking your sword. It seems that that took a great deal of effort though. Even though I took careful aim, I missed anyways.
OOC: I was aiming for your body, but then horrible aim + magical noobieness = Hit sword instead

 

"Hahahaha!"
I start laughing. I'm just hovering now.
"That felt nice! Maybe you should do it more often."
I shout down at you, descending not very rapidly.

 

OOC: Science tells me that his amethyst sword melted slightly as it was struck by lightning, then immediately re-solidified afterward. 13 wouldn't at all be shocked, as amethyst does not conduct current. This means that the sword is ever so slightly duller now.

 

I breath calmly, before pointing my sword at you, as if inviting you to take it too. My other hand is free.

OOC: I figured that amethyst doesn't conduct, and I didn't want to get scolded by Ihra and the others for possibly nearly killing 13, so I just made it so I missed and hit the sword

 

OOC: Doesn't mean he didn't feel the heat. (Excuses! Yay!)
Also, for the record, it wouldn't kill him. just scorch some of his skin.

I start wielding my sword with two hands, and walking towards you.

 

"The two handed approach is an approach strongly leaning towards an offensive strategy. The weapon most suited for two handed attacks is the broadsword, capable of dealing a massive bow with a single swing. The one handed approach offers versatility and speed and strongly leans towards fast, indescesive blows to distract or weaken the enemy. The weapon most suited for one handed attacks is the rapier, capable of quick attacks while still being relatively light." I say, as if reciting something.
OOC: I am not reciting something. This is just something my character made on the fly to stall.

 

"Which is why I have a broadsword. Thank you, scientists, for making your final Beta worth something."
I say, starting a running charge.

 

"Notice, how running a very powerful charge will result in immense offensive capabilties." I remain still, holding my sword defensively, as if I am going to block your charge.
OOC: I am NOT going to attempt to block it. Probably Your opponent in another rp style sidestep

 

OOC: Thank you. I don't actually want to break any of your weapons.
I continue charging.
When I get near you, I make a swing upwards, from right to left.
Because I'm generally right-handed.

 

OOC: The sword won't break, the spear might break but I can just reform another one. The crossbow is the real worry, but it's sort of with you atm.
Right before you swing, I kick your legs out from under you, at the same time ducking to dodge the sword.

 

I fall to the ground, keeping a grip on my sword, and blast away backwards.

 

I keep still. It looks as if I'm playing defensively, pretty different from the last match where I was playing largely offensively.

 

I fly up in the air, waiting to see what you will do when you cannot shoot me down.

 

I do...nothing. I just watch, my sword pointed at you, challenging you.

 

I fly right above you.
And wait, still.
