I hold the projection and Hydrolance defensively.


If this guy is anything like Redemption, he'll open up on the offensive, I think.

 

He gets up, and he stands there, keeping his rapier pointed at you, poised to attack.

You breath frost on him. His skin grows pale, and after you finish, it returns to normal. "It...is...also...imbued to protect...against...most...magic..." He continues to hold on, struggling to keep his resolve against the immense pain.

"Do not interfere, intruder." The hooded man says. The person chained to the pedestal starts shouting for help upon seeing you.

"Very well." He marches off. You walk towards the town center. It is notably quiet, except for the sounds of soldiers and nature. Most of the buildins are not lit, and almost all the shops are closed. The most prominent building is the large and grandiose Seat of The Local Government. There is a small shack with light, and you can see a small shop that's still open. The gardens beside the Seat of The Local Government is still open, as well as the town library.

You lie down on the bed. It remarkably feels cushioned, despite it obviously being made of rocks. You drift off into sleep.

You awaken in a large room. Bookshelves line the walls, reaching high up and extending beyond your view. Stacks and stacks of books are everywhere, as far as the eye can see.

You can't hear any movement, nor see any. It seems your would-be-killer might be gone.

He quickly gets up and jumps out of the way of the arrows, before tapping the ground. A tap out. "Alright, that's enough." the trainer says.

You continue sliding along the river. Not much. After a while, you come across a massive sinkhole in the ground. The sinkhole creates a clearing, as the trees have fallen through it.

"Wh-wh-what?! I-I...you actually d-did it...uh I s-said get m-me a brown m-m-mushroom...yes...a brown mushroom...I am p-perfectly...sure that I said a brown m-m-mushroom...I can for-g-g-ive y-you this time...heh...w-what are y-y-you still d-doing h-ere!? G-get that brown mushroom!" He says, before returning to muttering things.

"And what are your current capabilites, and what do you wish to apply for?" The attendee asks.

You see your attacker from before, moving his dagger towards your chest. You have seconds to react.

The bridge is made of wood, though it's so old that healing it won't do anything.

 

"Alright."
I say, lowering my bow.
"Good fight. I still apologize for showing up late."
I say to the sparring partner.

 

"Come on, you won't beat me if you don't make a move. The longer you stand there, the better I look as a recruit."

 

I roll to the left and try to get up.

"I think this has gone far enough." Though I do not attack, I channel some of my power, so my eyes glow threateningly, and raise my blade.

"..." I burned the mushroom apart and started to walk off on my own again

 

"Where is this place? Might as well take a look at these while I'm here..."
He picks up a book from the shelf and starts reading it.

 

"You cant keep this up forever human!" I say as I breathmore frost on him!

 

I tell the person, "I'm a decent fighter. Although, I can't preform magic and I'm weaker to electricity. I'd rather stay away from things involving that. Aside from that, I'll take almost any job." I wait for her response.

 

OOC: Haha the Wynncraft mushroom man quest reference. YAY ;D

IC: I go over to the bridge. I shapeshift into a wolf. (So I have the same weight as Lykos and Lang and therefore test if it is safe for them) I instruct my companions to wait until I get over and to no matter what stay on this side.
I walk carefully and slow over. Testing each plank before really stepping on it. Never moving more than one leg at a time and making sure my legs are all on different planks to not put too much pressure on one plank.
When (if) I get over I instruct my companions to do the same as I did. Nut will go first then Lang and Lykos last.
If we all get over we continue traveling.

 

I enter the sinkhole. 16 mass now?

 

I jump down, still being silent as possible, and stealthily re-enter my house

 

"Ok, as you say"I said softly. Then I commanded them to mount horses and chase the baggage train

 

OOC: HEEEEEY, BUMP!

 

I continue to stand there, glancing behind me periodically.
