Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Abigail screams through the lava, struggling.

I surface from the lava, "Somehow I feel as if it was a good idea that we wore swimming gear this time." I say.

"Agreed. Good idea, Katie." Artemis says.

Katie smiles, "Thanks!" She says happily.

The lava swirls about as Abigail struggles below with Ruby.

 

Ruby releases her.
"Don't do this to your friends!"
She levitates above the lava pool.

 

Abigail jumps from the pool, grabbing Ruby by the neck from behind. She seems to be wearing a red, fire-pattered bikini; and her hair is aflame.

"So who wants lemonade?" I say casually, ignoring the fight and summoning a few glasses of lemonade in my hands.

Artemis and Katie take a glass each. I put a glass near to Stephanie, who eventually takes it and sips it.

 

Her horns get in the way.
Ruby just levitates higher, lava spheres forming in her hands.

 

Abigail tries grabbing her hands and forcing them behind her back.


"I wonder how things are back on earth." I say.

"Probably normal. I bet Aj hasn't even noticed we're gone. He certainly didn't notice you leaving." Artemis says.

"I hope things are alright back at the palace..." Katie says, concerned.

Stephanie just keeps sipping her lemonade.

 

"Hmm, I see. I'll tell the soldiers to wait until night." I say to him. I then say in a louder voice to the soldiers, "We will wait until night to strike the enemy!" I sit on the floor and wait for nightfall.

 

Abigail grabs Ruby's wrists, but is flung into the pool of lava.

"Sir... They're coming now."

 

I get up quickly, dealing both by weapons. I yell, "The enemy is here! Get your weapons and fight for your lives!" I run towards the incoming force and start cutting them down with my men.

 

Abigail causes a pair of large lava hands to erupt from the pool, grabbing onto Ruby.

The lava shoots Abigail upwards, and she grabs onto Ruby's horns.

 

They're not organized. It was a tiny force. It dies quickly.

A blaze catches one of the huts nearby.

"Nithia Marava."
The lava hands pass through her, and she lets Abigail grab her horns. She then levitates high above solid ground.
"Now, can't you just settle for a new friend? Or is your grudge against Rineth too big to rub off?"

"Whoever strikes first! I know you want me dead!" Abigail shouts.

 

I yell at the four closest men, "Put that out, and then join up with the rest of the group!" I then gather the rest of my men and march to the enemy village.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" I roar from above the lava pool.
OOC: By the way, Exvhius, scratch my earlier action about jumping through the portal. I just formulated how to maximize the 3 day break.

She looks at you, then ignores you.

 

I look at Ruby sternly, before shaking my head. The cloaked man from earlier approaches Ruby, his hand outstreched. "I believe that we have not have the most proper of introductions." He says.

 

"Pardon me, but I have an... unpredictable being of fire holding my attention."

 

"Use water magic, it will certainly get her away, but beware, for her allies will try to kill you for that. Also, I believe you know me, do you not?"
OOC: The hood from my cloak is covering my face, assassin's creed style, and my cloak is covering my whole body, except for me hand which is extended.

 

"I know, and I assumed you caught on to that. I seek not more hunters; there is little I can do without Xlentia's protection."

 

"I know from personal experience. Are you going to shake my hand or not? It's getting tiring."

 

"No, I'm not. We've already met. I don't see the point."

You realize that those horns that were lodged into the wall?


They're as big as she is. She's not even using her wings to fly. She's just levitating there.
