Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Just to let you know, I'm single." Violet says, winking at Terra's boss.

"What does a preserver do?" Artemis asks, curious.

"I'm sorry you're the last of your kind." Myria says sadly.

 

"I have no interest, though it seems Terra over here does." The cloaked man says, pointing his sword at Lord Terra, before somehow putting it back within his cloak.

 

"A preserver is a walking relic, so to speak. Don't worry about me being the last of my kind; I am beyond ancient. My horns tell the history of my world. Most of the others died naturally... or as collateral in either The Shatter or the war going on now."

 

"I'd rather be hung by my own intestines than go back to dating that worthless excuse for a being." Violet says, glaring at Terra.

"The shatter? What's that?" Artemis asks.

 

"H-hey!" Lord Terra exclaims.
"Silence!" The cloaked man shouts, causing Lord Terra to take a step back in fear.

 

"The event when our two deities sacrificed themselves to protect out race; the origin of the first of five generations of fragments and the rise of the Hive Master."

The dragon leaves the group next to the portal.
"Your respect for Mistress is in part reciprocated, Aj." He says before teleporting.

 

"You sure know how to command. I like that," Violet says, "Just know, if you ever want to see if there's something between us, just call."

Violet hands Terra's boss a card. There's not actually a phone number on it, just a bunch of random numbers: '4136121025'

"I don't like that Hive Master. He's taking innocent people's free wills and making them fight...it's why I reached out to my mother." Artemis says.

"He sounds particularly evil." Myria comments.

The group heads through the portal.

 

OOC: Idk what happened to her. She was with the group and then we sort of forgot her XD. And you said the mark she had was important but okay.

Same stuff as before to Ragnyon.

 

"You will be a fine replacement for Terra if he does not comply with my orders and instructions."
Terra starts to cower in fear again.

 

Sgavrinn seems happy to see you safe. The portal closes behind you.
"And I don't intend to open my eyes until I'm in a shaded area... Not that I rely on sight." Ruby mutters.

"Not a trap? Ragnyon asks.

"I don't think so... But may I ask who your companion is?"

 

"I'm not sure... we'll ask her when she wakes up."

 

"I meant the... Where'd she... What?! Is she alive?!"

 

"I'd rather work in a partnership," Violet says, "A close partnership."

The maid walks over, "Uh-Uhm, V-Violet, what would h-happen to me?" She says nervously.

"Did I give you permission to speak? Bow down, maid!" Violet shouts.

The maid bows.

"Not a trap." Artemis says happily.

Myria walks over to Katie and the others.

"Katie, could I borrow your help for a bit?" She asks kindly.

"Oh, sure thing." Katie says, getting up.

"You look like you've been crying. Are you alright?" Myria asks, concerned.

"I'm fine. I was just playing with Stephanie." Katie says, smiling.

Myria returns to Artemis and Ruby with Katie.

"We need to give her blood. Artemis, I'm going to require your help here." Myria says.

"Ok, mother!" Artemis says happily.

 

"Very well. I shall contact you once I have a mission for you."

 

"Ihra... Right?"
"Yes."
"Thank you for responding. I was getting bored being mounted to a wall."


Odd non-physical waves pass through Katie and the rest of the group.

 

"Meant who?"

 

"Excellent. I look forward to working with you," Violet says, turning to Lord Terra, "I'd say it's like old times, but I can already see your boss is better than you ever were."

Myria seems concerned by the waves. She places a hand on Ruby's chest.

"Artemis, take my hand. Katie, I need you to create a stable flow of water." Myria says.

Artemis takes her mother's other hand, and Katie creates a pool of water.

"Now, Artemis, we need to transmute this water into blood. Place your hand into the water, and focus your mind on blood; I'll take the flow from you and pass it into Ruby." Myria says.

"Alright, I-I've never done this before, but I'm sure I can!" Artemis says confidently.

"Good girl." Myria says. Vines wrap around Ruby, and both Artemis and Myria focus. Fresh blood starts to slowly refill Ruby's veins as I draw my blood away at the same rate.

 

Terra remains silent, clearly terrified of his boss. "Then, if that is all, I shall be taking my leave now." The cloaked man says, before starting to walk away.

 

"It was nice to meet you." Violet says, grinning at Terra's fear. She reloads her gun.

 

The cloaked man takes no notice, and then disappears, probably from a spell.
