"It's nice to meet you, Sgavrinn. I'm glad Artemis is letting her prophet friend ride you due to her injuries." Myria replies.

 

"I'm a bit curious, what's Artemis' home like?"

 

"As far as I remember, her original home was in a large forest which my husband and I protected. A lot of other forest guardians lived there, and we lived in the trees," Myria responds, "I believe she now stays with her friends in their home."

 

"That sounds nice. I used to live in a forest... Then it fell apart."

"So, why did you want to see Artemis?"
The fact Myria is Artemis' mother seems to have struck a sentimental chord with Ihra.

 

"Well, other than the fact that I haven't seen her before I died, I sensed Artemis wanted help. I thought I could do both, reunite and teach." Myria says.

"You're...going to teach me how to use my powers? Like Kyrae did when I was younger?" Artemis asks.

"Yes, sweetie." Mryia says, smiling.

 

"Does this, by chance, have anything to do with me asking for help healing Ruby?"

 

"You have a friend in need of healing?" Myria asks.

"I wanted to find an alternative method of saving the draconians, but we could help one of your friends too!" Artemis says.

Myria smiles at Artemis.

 

"Alternative method? Right... Being almost killed is a rather rude awakening...

Ruby is a servant of a deity after me. The deity proposed a ceasefire of sorts, asking if I could help her uphold her word. Ruby was promised a future in return for service, but she was attacked. She's now only alive due to a machine; there's not a single drop of blood in her body."

 

"That poor girl. I'd be happy to help her in any way I can." Myria says, sympathetic for Ruby.

"I want to help her too!" Artemis says.

 

"A portal is supposed to open, one that Xlentia said she wouldn't trace. Her servants are ordered not to attack us. Ruby is in the library, and we'd be led there by a Voidwalker. I feel like someone should stay back and guard Ragnyon; let's not make it too tempting for them to turn it into a trap."

 

"I'll guard her," Abigail says, walking over, "I'm sure Katie and Stephanie will too, when they're done messing around."

 

The portal opens, almost on cue.
"Thanks, Abigail."

"Well, let's go again?"

 

"Aj, we're going! We need your help!" Artemis shouts to me.

I run over, leaving the others.

"Let's go, then." I say, glancing at Artemis and Myria.

 

Ihra steps in.

A large black dragon seems to be waiting you.
"Whenever you're ready."

 

"Very well."
"So, is Kai safe now?"

 

Artemis, Myria and I step in too.

"Um, we're here to help Ruby." Artemis says.

 

"Yes, she is."

"Step on my back. I'll bring you to the library."

 

I hop on the dragon's back, before helping Artemis on. Myria helps Artemis too, before climbing on herself.

"Onward!" I shout.

 

I say, "Do you need anything else? I'm happy to help you if you need it."

 

He quickly moves towards the library.

Ruby seems to be staring at you from behind a desk. Her horns are mounted to a wall, and her robe and scales explain her name.

"I think that's all. Don't kill off our guests."
