Guide Spring Build (lvl 98-101)

Hey everyone!
It's another one of my builds, this time for the mythic bow spring! I got a request by @Random_Guy to make this one, better thank me you lazy bugger ;) Anyways, Spring is a water and earth based bow that uses spells to dish out insanely high damage values. Lets get started :P

Ratings

Health: ★★✩✩✩ 2/5 - Gives a total of around 7000 health with bad defenses in earth and fire; you are a literal glass cannon.
Defense: ★★✩✩✩ 2/5 - Good defenses in water and air but bad in earth and thunder. (refer to appendix 1)
Mobility: ★★★✩✩ 3/5 - Whilst only one of the gear increases movement speed, archers have speed 3.
Melee: ★★★✩✩ 3/5 - Honestly with Spring melee should not be used, but since there is an earth aspect, it gives some melee boosts.
Spells: ★★★★★★ 6/5 - If ID's of items are good, you get 21/4s mana regen (tho anything higher than 20/4 is useless) + insane spell damage. Since Spring requires lots of intel to use spells literally cost next to nothing.

I chose Third Eye because of the intelligence boost as well as mana regen and the insane good ID's it provides. Self explanatory for a water based bow :P

Mummy's rag (lvl 38)

The mummy's rag has a lot of potential. The +2 tier attack speed will blow your dps with Spring off the roof. Sure, it does not provide too much health but the spell multiplier more than makes up for it. Self explanatory really.

Crystal is used purely for the much needed increase in intelligence + mana regen and to cancel some negative walk speed from Mummy's rag. Provides okay health (and good water/air defense). Also self explanatory.

Capricorn gives a great boost to intelligence as well as mana regen and walk speed. Provides good ID's all around :P

Provides some mana regen, but very good intelligence boost. If possible, use the Detective's ring you get from quests (only if the intelligence boost is good).

This royal stormy amulet has 2/4s mana regen (super rare). Gives good bonus to intelligence and water damage as well. (a 1/4s mana regen amulet is okay too)

Spring is a powerful bow. It gives the ability to spam spells AND deal insane spell damage at the same time, making it very effective and efficient against hordes of enemies. Thanks to the neutral damage, even mobs that resist the elements will still be hit hard by this bow. Do not underestimate what Spring can do.

In the case where Qira is having a bad day and you are unable to deal enough damage to her, this bow will give you the power you lack. Neutral damage ftw.

keep in mind that this is a glass cannon build. The damage you deal surpasses most builds but you have to keep moving, or risk getting hit hard.

Once again, this may not be the best build out there, but I made this build with the mindset of dealing as much damage as humanely possible. With the skill point allocations, not only do more than half the attacks you recieve deal no damage, you also dish out decent melee damage as well as overwhelming spell damage. With no further ado

Oops, thanks for the reminder. I was thinking of using Pisces before Third Eye (cuz Pisces is earth and water) but I decided not to because I used Capricorn. I'll change it thanks <3

You should get tier 3 attack speed to boost your dmg since you already have 21/4 mana regen remove the moon pool circlet and replace with another hive item, Breezehands. This will give you tier 3 and boost it to Super Fast instead of Very Fast. Ex: Normal > Fast > Very Fast > Super Fast

 

That is exactly what I considered
But breezehands is not without skill points requirements
it requires 55 dex and 55 agility
since Spring requires you to put in 100 skill points on intelligence, the balance would not be enough, even if we add them in a balanced fashion, it would not be enough to boost your skill points to 55 each
Sure, you can use items, but I have not seen an item that boosts both dex and agility whilst providing good ID's at higher levels

That is why I didn't use breezehands :P
Yes, i did think through the options carefully (breezehands' op) ;-;

Btw 21/4s mana regen is if all items had maxed ID's, which is hard to get. This leaves some room for non-maxed items, such as a 3/4s mana regen spring :3

Why is mummy's rag not viable?
Please put constructive criticism .-.
What would you suggest replacing it with?

 

i would suggest , getting a 7/4 aquarius and then replace third eye with pisces so you still have more than 20 mana regen but you got some more health (a lot more) and more melee/spell damages and +some strength

Very imbalanced.

 

hmm dont you think that the +tier attack speed's spell dmg multiplier would be more efficient in terms of damage? Also, anything above 20/4s mana regen is useless, in this build I made it so that you get 21/4s mana regen because it would be hard for people to get all maxed mana regen gear, leaving some margin for non-maxed items

once again, and i repeat, this is a glass cannon build :P yes, the thunder and earth defense may not be the best but your damage per second surpasses just about every archer build out there. If possible, suggest any improvements if the defense does not suit you?

BUT MOM'S RAG IS ABUSIVE
and anyways having like 2-3k more hp , 22% more walk speed , more strength points and more melee damage should be worth it
also you could change some more armor if you'll feel like it since you got spare mana regen
for example you could switch ur suspression with moon pool ring that gives you more health , WAYYY more mana steal and some intl
