Why Is My Optifine A Jar. Folder?

    It's a damn jar. folder and it cant create the optifine profile. What the hell do i do?

    If I remember correctly, I just opened it with Java or something, if we had the same problem :C

    You have to download Java, then open OptiFine so it automatically installs. Java helps Minecraft run also, so it's a double win.

    Doesn't Minecraft NEED Java to run? Soo wouldn't that mean he would already have Java?
