Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"What's going on?!" I shout, still keeping my distance.

 

Ihra goes back to putting life in the ground near the flower.

"At least your forces failed to breach the Storm Barrier, else you'd have two gods bringing ruin to your lands."

"Rina!" Aria shouts.
"Mother said go easier on him!"
"Why should I?!"

"If you wouldn't mind keeping watch over me, I have yet to recover..."

 

No response.

The aura seems to be quite blinding now.

In a large flash of blinding bright light, the flower blooms.

A tall, curvaceous woman stands in the middle of the flower. She bears a strong resemblence to Artemis; she has long, dark moss green hair, dark green eyes and wears the same leafy clothing as Artemis.

Artemis just stands there in shock, a few tears rolling down her face, and I spit out the water I was drinking, surprised.

Stephanie doesn't seem as surprised, "Who's that?" She asks, clearly out of the loop.

 

"H-hey!" I shout, descending into the light, albeit slowly, in case I might crash into the group.

 

Sgavrinn timidly approaches her, sniffing at and staying low to the ground.
Ihra's just confused.

 

You notice a tall figure standing in the flower as you descend. She looks quite a bit like Artemis, albeit older and taller.

 

I squint, to get a closer look, while still descending. "Huh. I wonder who that is."

 

Artemis suddenly runs over, hugging the woman and crying.

"Shh, it's alright, Artemis." She says, trying to calm Artemis.

Artemis just keeps crying, hugging the woman tighter. The woman seems quite a bit taller than Artemis.

 

I land beside Aj. "Do you know this woman?" I ask.

 

Sgavrinn hums part of the Forest Spirits' melody from earlier, seeing if the woman will react.

"Well... Looks like she's not an enemy." Ihra says happily.

 

The aura seems to be forming around a single spot. It seems to be turning into a humanoid form.

"It's fine... you can do whatever you want to me. Though preferably not killing me. That will cause a few problems."

"Yes, I will, Mistress Xlentia."
Arnold stands by Xlentia.

 

"Wh..."

"I don't intend to kill you. I don't think I could."

"You may also consider helping Helianthus into a body that can transport itself..."
She curls up in her hoard. From this angle, you can see just how large the cut was and how deep the gash is.

 

"Yes and no. I think it would be better if she introduced herself; since I don't have as much knowledge to give a good introduction for her." I say.

She whistles another melody back, and a patch for flowers grows around Sgavrinn.

"I missed you," Artemis says through tears "I-It was different, and scary..."

"I'm sorry, sweetie," She says with a motherly tone, "I see your father gave you your present."

She shows Artemis a familiar looking necklace. Hers, however, is shaped like a heart instead of a leaf.

 

"Hate to intrude on this moment, but who are you?" I ask the woman.

 

"My name is Myria, I'm Artemis' mother." Myria says, consoling her crying child.

"Look...uh, I'm...sorry for what happened...concerning your death..." I say guiltily, "I never requested it."

"You're the one they were trying to summon?" Myria asks.

I nod solemnly.

"I forgive you. I see no point in holding grudges in death, and Darnth informed me of your situation with my daughter. It's clear to see you're not like other Shadows; and you're probably one of the first to apologise for causing a death." Myria says, smiling at me.

"Thank you...I've always felt bad about what happened that night." I say sincerely.

 

Idala chooses this moment to wake up.
"Uhh... what is that?"
The aura turns into a girl who seems to be human.
She is wearing a white dress with gold patterns. Her hair is the same colour is the gold patterns.
She notices everyone around her and says, "I shouldn't have been so-"
She doesn't finish her sentence and immediately collapses.

Arnold winces as he sees the wound.

Arnold chants over your stone figure.
You suddenly find yourself in your original body. The only difference is, you are wearing golden armour. You also have a icy blue crossbow.

 

OOC: Is this in the Void? Cause damn, the armor brings back a lot. Also, does this mean I have two bodies now?

Hearing Darnth's name, I hiss, before stepping back. A lot. "Ah! So you're Artemis's mother! Pleasure to meet you!" I shout from a distance of probably fifty feet.

 

OOC: Yes, this is in the Void. Yes, this means you have two bodies.

 

Stephanie runs over, concerned.

"Hey guys, I think we have a problem." Stephanie shouts back, looking over the girl.

"Artemis, why don't you show me what you've learned?" Myria says, gesturing to the collapsed girl.

Myria, Artemis and I walk over to the girl. Artemis kneels down beside her, checking her life, and looking for possible wounds.

"Is there something wrong?" Myria asks, confused.

 

She's definitely alive. The only problem seems to be a large drain in energy, which is why she collapsed.
