Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Stephanie walks over to help Ihra with assisting Ragnyon.

Artemis seems to suddenly snap out of her trance, getting up hastily.

"Aj, I know this sounds weird, but I need two corpses and two blanks." Artemis says.

"Sure thing." I say, summoning a pair of corpses without question.

A pair of blanks appear beside Stephanie.

"Thanks." Artemis says, growing a small tree. She snaps a twig off of it and starts drawing a large circle in the dirt.

 

"Um... Artemis? Is everything okay?"

"Greetings, most esteemed and powerful Mistress Xlentia."

 

"Helianthus? Hello... How was the library?"

"This is humiliating..." she mumbles.

 

"Uh, yeah!" Artemis says, finishing her circle. She draws multiple lines across it, forming a spirograph of sorts.

Artemis grabs the corpses and dumps them in the center of the circle, before taking the pair of blanks and doing the same.

"I...found, or, heard someone. They told me to do this. I couldn't really tell who they were, but they seemed trustworthy enough." Artemis says.

"Are you sure that performing such a ritual by instruction of an anonymous spirit is a good idea?" I ask.

Artemis raises her hands, and vines sprout around the blanks and corpses, tying them together. She brings her hands down, and a large flower slowly erupts from the ground around them, closing in on them. It begins to pulsate ominously. The flower's petals turn a darker shade of green.

 

"Let her do as she wishes. I just requested something similar."

 

Seeing this, I jump out if the crater and glide over.
"What's that do?'
I ask Artemis.

 

Artemis smiles, "I hope I did everything right. They were quite specific...I just hope I'm not bringing back someone horrible." Artemis says nervously.

"I'm not entirely sure. The spirit I spoke to said it would grant them new life, and instructed me on what to do." Artemis says.

"Everything can be explained in this one video." I say, showing you a rectangular device.

It seems to play music. Apparently there are some spooky scary skeletons that will drive you so insane, according to the video.

"Aj, go poke it." Stephanie says.

I sigh, walking over to the flower. As soon as I get close, a mass of vines grabs me and puts me back where I was standing.

"Whoa...weird." I say.

 

I stash the device, still interested.
I then try going up to it and poking it.

 

"The library was certainly entertaining, though I think I'll return in there when I'm no longer a totem." I say. "My liege! Please do not be humiliated! This attack on you, this attack that is so useless and unfruitful, should not cause you humiliation! For it truly shows, that your men are incapable of defending you, and that truly, you are powerful enough to survive an assassination attempt."

OOC: It seems I've developed a writing style for flattering Xlentia.

 

Miznyana reverts to an axe.
"Well... let's hope for the best."

So this is the kind of rp where I get to decide a lot of things, as in I can create locations?

Ability(ies): War Cry; This raises his and his allies defense and attack for a period of time.
Blade, Bow, or Tome? (Choose up to two): A shiny gold blade and a steel crossbow
Position in community: Warchief
Additional Details and Lore: He was born into a tribal lifestyle, learning how to fight at an early age. He quickly ascended in the ranks of the tribe and soon became the warchief after the previous one died. His tribe wages war against many other tribes. The tribe has about 100 soldiers capable of fighting.
Relative location of settlement: In a desert, in a tribal village

You can create locations as well as you can give a relative location to pre-existing ones.

Once you name the relative location to the map thus far, yes.

 

The same thing happens. A mass of vines picks you up and places you away from where the flower is.

"I guess it...they, don't want to be disturbed." Artemis says.

The flower pulses rythmically and ominously, almost like a beating heart. It seems to be growing as time progresses, and roots appear to be sucking the life from the earth around it.

"Now I kinda feel scared." Artemis says nervously.

I stand next to Artemis, smiling at her, "Don't worry, I won't let anyone bad get near you." I say happily.

 

I fly over. "What's this thing?" I ask, looking at the flower.
