"Sorry about your loss..." Stephanie says sadly, "Did Abigail's presence help?"

 

"Wh-oh... No, not really. I tried to summon him, and I... I can't. He's gone. I..."
She tears up.

 

Stephanie hugs Ihra.

"If it's any consolation, Artemis is looking for someone who's deceased. Maybe you could try to get her to give you a reunion with him." Stephanie says.

 

"That's okay. I'll be fine."

 

Stephanie just hugs Ihra tighter, "We're here for you. Don't forget that." Stephanie says.

 

She hugs back.
"I know... I know. Thank you."

 

Stephanie keeps hugging for a while, before pulling away.

"It's nice having you around, Ihra." Stephanie says happily.

Stephanie glances at Artemis, making sure she's alright.

 

"I was reached out to by someone. They wanted help, but I don't know if I want to. Remember how the flower-turned-dragon spoke of Xlentia's library? Her and Xlentia are looking for healers to help her. Apparently if she leaves where she is now, she'll die."

 

"Maybe Artemis could help...once she's finished her spiritual shenanigans," Stephanie says, "Is Aj responsible for this?"

 

"No, they both reached out to me in a dream. She isn't mind controlled, but Xlentia can't find a healer able enough to help. Thing is, there's not a drop of blood left in her body. He wasn't lying; she's not mind controlled. But... I want to help. If Xlentia, even when corrupt, wants to honor her word, I... Ruby is her name. Ruby was promised an out from the war if she served, and her term is about up. I still want to help my people."

 

"Oh, so Ruby is the one who's hurt? Again, maybe Artemis could help," Stephanie says, "You and Artemis go and help her, and Aj could be your bodyguard."

I walk over, having gotten bored of the crater.

"I heard my name." I say, smiling.

 

"Aj, in a dream, Xlentia and some other draconian reached out to me. Xlentia promised Ruby freedom once she served her, and her term is almost up. However, she can't be released or she'll die, and Xlentia has yet to find a healer able to help her. She's bound to a wall, being kept alive by a machine. Ruby isn't mind controlled, though; Sir Drake wasn't lying."

 

"I could help her. Empowerment, remember? I could keep someone's brain alive in my own head if needed; so keeping her alive would be fairly easy," I say, "Though...it would make the more intimate moments with Artemis a little awkward; for both parties."

"We could heal Ruby whilst you were empowering her." Stephanie suggests.

 

"Will you be able to keep her alive long enough? She has not a drop of blood left in her body..."

 

"She'd be kept alive by my blood; since we'd sync our bodies up." I say.

"We should leave now or wait for Artemis; I'm concerned." Stephanie says.

"I'm sure she knows what she's doing. If we're quick, we can bring Ruby back here in no...time." I say, summoning the watch of true time.

"That was terrible. We don't have time for bad jokes." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

Ihra's eyes widen when you pull it out.
"Isn't the alpha supposed to have a blue glow or something?"

 

"No, not really. That's only when it's being used; besides, I've made it impossible to lose. Remember when I met my future self when...somone died?" I ask.

OOC: 'Ihra's eyes widen when you pull it out' NO BRAIN. STOP. STOP THINKING THAT.

 

"Whew... Had me worried for a moment."
She walks over near Artemis.
"Are you okay?"

 

Artemis doesn't respond, she simply remains in her meditating position.

"Hey Stephanie, wanna see something cool?" I ask.

"Go on." Stephanie says.

I summon an ice cube in place of the watch of true time.

"Yeah...only Katie can make those jokes." Stephanie says, disappointed.

 

Ihra snickers, the notices Ragnyon.
"I thought you were on Sgavrinn?"
"I was. Something reached for me, and I fell off in a panic. Can I get a little help up?"
"Sure."
