Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The stick seems to go straight through it.
However, when you go nearer to it, you can feel a strange presence. 'Arms' of energy move towards you.

"Yes?"

"Uhh... okay... I guess this might not be a bad idea, but please try not to kill the population of Runetrel. Just get Kai out of here and go."
A figure flies down past you and into the crowd, cutting down a few soldiers who are around Kai. More charge towards them.
The crowd start scattering at the sight of the Infernal Beast. People on the ships start loading some cannons and ballista.

 

"Hello?" I ask, backing away from the arms.

 

The arms of energy start moving quite fast and quickly surround you.
As they touch you, you can feel the presence connecting with you. Whatever it is, it seems to be examining you.

 

I draw Shadow Katana instinctively, "Show yourself!" I shout.

 

Whatever it is, it doesn't respond. The arms start to retract and the thing returns to how it was.

 

I try touching the magic aura.

"Hey, I didn't mean to scare you." I say apologetically.

 

"I don't know. More than five minutes, though."

He hums.

"The Mistress wanted to see you."

"Got it."
Kai starts to move out of her chains, and a gust of wind helps with that.

 

"I guess I'm up now." Artemis says, streching.

"Um, Artemis, I think Ragnyon needs your help. She broke her back, in a sense." Katie says.

"What? Oh no, I hope she's alright." Artemis says, looking for Ragnyon.

Artemis runs over to Ragnyon, "Ragnyon, are you ok? Katie told me you broke your back." Artemis asks, concerned.

 

She's crawling on the ground, grimacing.
"Yeah. Aj kind of dropped me."

 

Seeing AJ run over, I follow him.
I jump down into the crater, hovering to stop my descent from being too fast.
"What do you think it is?"
I ask AJ.

 

"Mhm, true."
OOC: That story be like some kind of foreshadowing to Azure

Yeah, I tried to join but found it a bit confusing. Like I said, I'll join again and stay sometime. You may as well delete my character though, since I'll make a new one sometime in the future.

 

OOC: Azure is technically a split-timeline post-true ending character.


But it was already written, so it's not about him.

OOC: *le gasp* Is it Ragnyon? (She and Azure are the only Aquos Draconians I know)

 

OOC: Whilst possible, as everyone presumed her dead, no.

I just don't have a few hundred names, so I try to keep a lot of the draconians anonymous.

 

OOC: I recommend Google translating some words to get a bunch of names, like Vulneratis.

 

OOC: I thought of that, but then I forget them as they have little significance to me.

Lera and (will find name later) is an example.

Artemis wraps Ragnyon's torso in vines, healing her quite quickly.

"It's alright, I can heal you in no time." Artemis says, smiling.

"I think its a spirit of some kind. It started touching me, and I think I scared it. Though, while it was touching me all over, I did feel a presence of some kind."

 

"Thanks. At least I'll be able to kind of walk then..."
Another *pop* suggests her back is just about back to normal.

"Artemis, should we leave her on my back? Would you mind if she rode me alongside you?"
Sgavrinn asks while he stretches.
