Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Come on... I need help popping her back the way it should be." Ihra mutters, laying Ragnyon on her side.
"On three?"

 

"Uhm, ok." Katie says nervously.

"I'll try my hardest..." Stephanie says.

 

Ihra puts her foot where Ragnyon's spine is snapped.

"One... two... THREE!"
She yanks Ragnyon's chest and gut, trying to bend her closer to the right position.

 

A few of Stephanie's crystals assist Ihra, and Katie tries her best to force Ragnyon's back into the correct position using ice hands and her trident.

"Did it work?" Katie asks.

 

*CRACK*

"Heal now, maybe? Now that she's at the right angle and stuff?"

Ihra's trying to heal her, but it's slow.

 

Katie tries healing her too, though it's not very strong. Stephanie's crystals seem to do the most healing.

"Maybe we should give her this?" Stephanie says, holding up a heart-shaped phial. Red liquid splashes about within.

"Where's Artemis?" Katie asks, concerned.

 

Ragnyon suddenly inhales, clutching her chest.

"What's that?"

 

"It's a healing potion; strong healing properties." Stephanie says, uncorking the phial.

"How are you feeling, Ragnyon?" Katie asks.

 

Her response is to cough up watered down green blood.

"I think now would be a fine time to try that."

 

"Here, Ragnyon. This should help." Stephanie says, helping Ragnyon drink the potion.

Katie seems concerned, and starts looking around for Artemis.

 

Katie sees Sgavrinn laying on his back, snoring quietly.

It doesn't all go down the first time, but once it does, it seems to help.
"Aj... what... happened..." She whispers raspily.

 

"Me neither. Not like I was going to anyway, but even if I wanted to ever again for some reason, I wouldn't."

Arnold starts reading the book.

 

"It's fine. I understand that you're currently going through a lot. I mean, you just woke up with a large chunk of your life...gone, and pretty much everything you knew before is also gone." I attempt to take a sip from my cup, but I can't seem to get my hands around the cup. "I'm sorry though if what I said released some emotions." I decide to just lick tea from my cup.

"Aj, he morphed back into normal size, and apparantly only you didn't know how to glide, and you ended up pretty much smashing your back against some water that you tried to use to cushion your fall." I say.

 

It tells of how an Aquos survived in The Desert after being exiled from the Hive. He was let back in after he betrayed his friends who helped him survive.

Well then.

"Ah, it's fine. Anything I can recall is a step forward."

"Ooh... So it saved my life, but my back... I'm not going anywhere anytime soon..."

 

Wow, you guys hit 400 pages. Maybe I'll join one of these days.

 

I thought you were in then just disappeared.

 

"Hmm... interesting story. I wonder if this was real... likely not, but who knows?"
Arnold takes another book.

"If Aria wakes up, we'll be in trouble. I don't doubt she'll flood the place. We need to act faster, if you wouldn't mind..."

 

"I, uh, kinda dropped you." I say guiltily.

Katie wanders over to Sgavrinn, curious.

"I think love potions should only be used between couples, with consent. Using them to force someone to love you is wrong." Abigail says, shaking slightly.
