Looking down, there are a lot
more draconians than you expected
One of them is clawing your back

They've harpooned Ihra and Ragnyon and are just trying to haul them, while weakened, to the portal which is closing.


"If we don't make it fast, we'll be stuck out here to die!" Entropy shouts.

 

"Ow."
I comment, grabbing the lance.
"So, how's your day?"
I say as I tilt my head to the side.
"Conquer any worlds today? Yeah, me neither."
This seems all too casual.
"So how many beings have you killed? Personally, in the last hour or so, about..."
I put up the hand that doesn't have the lance in it.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 fingers go up.
"About five."

 

I fly through the portal, attempting to push Ragnyon and Ihra out.

 

"I'm not sure what you're hoping to achieve, but I haven't been sent out recently."

Your current size alone blocks it off. Most of the draconians ditch their objective and just run for the portal.
"You've gone too far!" Entropy shouts, teleporting into and going through the portal.

"We're never going to be strong if we don't take something over. If we don't rebel. Brisingr runs off of a system of noble houses, and that's it's problem. We'll never gain any power or standing if we don't crush Brisingr and reform it. No noble houses running everything, everyone with a chance to succeed. How do we crush Brisingr? We use shapeshifting to manipulate people and tear the whole place apart. Our cause is just to part with the lives of a few to free millions from unfair oppression."

 

OOC: Is there a way I can change between a flower and a dragon or is this just a one time thing
I tell one of the draconians, "I'll be back once I'm able to finish something up." I fly out of the portal into the overworld.

 

So, attempt one kind of makes you regret experimenting.

Whilst trying to heat the blade sufficiently to forge it, it only starts to show signs of becoming workable.

OOC: If you go back, you can't become a dragon again.

 

"Hm. Well, I haven't fought in a long time either. Maybe longer than you, but who knows? But I probably haven't even lived a tenth of your years."
I comment, putting my hand down.
"Y'know, I'm curious how proud of yourself you are right now. You're about to kill something that barely had a life in the first place. Hell, I shouldn't even be here, talking to you, right now. It's weird thinking about it. How everything lead up to this moment, right here, right now. Are you confused by now? If I could see you face, I would probably label it as confused."

"Oh. There seems to be something happening over there."
I say, noticing the commotion.
"Yeah, see that big dragon? He's a sorta-friend of mine. So I'm going to go help him. Whatever he's doing. Ihra and Ragnyon are friends of mine too, y'know."
I think of, bringing up the subject.
"Whelp. Talk to you later I guess. Gotta dip!"
I flick up the lace, and in turn, push up his blade.
Quickly holding onto my leg with one hand, and the crossbow strap with the other, and use my rocket boots to blast off horizontally, then up into the sky, heading slowly towards the portal.

 

OOC: So is there some kind of way to be able to change forms repeatedly without kidnapping a draconian?

 

OOC: Wait I is confused. So... I'm trying to heat the blade to forge it and it shows signs of becoming workable? Why do I regret this? Sorry just kinda lost a bit.

"Because this region is totally prosperous, full of places to trade and grow crops, and many of our men don't catch hypothermia and die, or starve to death, or stab each other fighting over resources. OOC: After doing literally everything you can to heat the blade, it's barely starting to become workable.

OOC: You'd have to kidnap a draconian again or stay in dragon form.

 

OOC: Damn, oh well. One last thing, where are Ragnyon and Ihra?

 

Lying on the ground, trying to remove the harpoons from each other while Virei'tus is distracted with Arnold.

 

OOC: So they are in the void?
I attempt to fly through the portal.

 

I look back and wave at him, before flying swiftly towards the portal.

 

OOC: No. You all should currently be in the overworld.

It's just about shut. It looks extremely unstable as-is.

The other draconian is just standing there, like you snapped him out of a trance.

 

I look around for Ihra and Ragnyon.

 

OOC: Ok then.
I fly over to Ihra and Ragnyon and land. "Look, that wasn't my plan of attack. That attack was on their own accord, so now they have several dead draconians and no prisoners."

"What was that?! Ugh, you guys should have told me when you were going to attack so that I could get out of there and look like I didn't know you guys were going to attack. Shame I was forced to defend the group else I'll risk compromising my position further."

"Over here Thirteen." I say.

I fly down to where you are.
"There's a straggler. What do we do with him?"
I say, landing.
I fail the landing, and crumble a bit, until I'm sitting down.

 

"Is it Entropy? What's his name. bring him to me. He might recognize me, but be sure to keep him away from Ihra and Ragnyon." I say. "Also, should I stay a dragon or a flower?"
