Most Overrated/underrated Game

How dare you?! Sonic Adventure 2 introduced us to the most badass character in the franchise: Shadow the Hedgehog!

 

Overrated: FNaF 2+

Underrated: Gothic 3(people didnt like it because of bugs, but bugs werent even Piranha's fault)

 

Overated: mincraft
Underated: Some game my lazy grandma plays on her tablet

Overrated: Mario kart 64, Ocarina of time, Pokemon red and blue, Undertale, all cod games, all ea games
Underrated: The Scribblenauts franchise, Super mario sunshine, New super mario bros wii

 

Its true there is one almost every gen but they kinda skimped on "Gates to infinity" with almost no post-ending story, very few dungeons, and only about 100-ish pokemon out of 600+ at that point. Not to mention the smallest fact that you couldn't even chose your gender in the English version...
This would kinda underrate the series as a whole for anyone who hasn't played the previous gen games, the only reason this didn't change my opinion much was because of playing "Blue/Red Rescue Team" and "Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky" long before the 3DS came out...

 

The most underrated is easily Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning. Its the perfect RPG for its price. Most overrated is Counterstrike...

 

Overrated: CSGO, Undertale
Underrated: World of Tanks (especially Blitz)

 

Overrated: COD franchise
Underrated: Mount and blade: Warband

 

Overrated: Undertale
Underrated: Dishonored.

 

Overrated: Quantum Break. It's a great game, meaning it has a great story, but the rest isn't that great. There's sitting back watching really long videos and killing bad guys with moves that are, to be honest, awesome, but grow boring quickly.
Underrated: the AC games. I hear people saying that it's just a game where you climb things, rund around and occasionally kill guys, but what appeals to me is the sense of adventure, how there's a whole network of Templars you have to kill, the mystery behind the First Civilization, and the fact that you are hundreds of years in the past.

By the way, I'm seeing a lot of people say that Undertale is overrated, when a while ago the forums were filled with Undertale things. If you do find Undertale overrated, please say why.

 

Overrated: I am not listing that cancer.
Underrated: Crusader Kings II (you can have a horse as your ruler! how is that possible, i have no clue but it is)

Underrated : Second Life

 

Overrated: Call Of Duty
Underrated: There's more than one xD

Contagion, Great zombie game, also has local one computer multiplayer if you have a controller
Cobalt, Fun 3rd person shooter, also has split screen online and offline
Starbound, Basically a better version of terraria
Bastion, Awesome 3rd person fighting game
Kerbal spae program, If you're into sims
and last, but not least
Psychonauts, Great story and challenging

But if I had to choose one I'd choose contagion.

It wasn't even that good, it was just an excuse to get money and it wasn't even much different from the Sims 3 and the Sims 2.


Underrated: FNAF World

Okay, i get it. You guys have to stop hating on it because it has FNAF in the title. It's NOTHING like FNAF, it's a cute RPG game that Scott decided to use FNAF characters for because that's his most popular title. He even used characters from his old games...

Update 2 was good too, you have to play all of these cool minigames like a shooting plane game and "foxy.exe" (probably a reference to "sonic.exe"). There's also a creepy ending that i will put in a spoiler.

Spoiler: do not open if you havent beaten fnaf world or you dont care because this title is getting too long lololol i need to stop

You go into a room with Scott himself in it, and he talks about how it's too late for him to "fix it". then he says he has made the most horrific creation ever, "Baby". Then there is darkness, and two yellow glowing eyes appear. Then they disappear, the lights come back on, and Scott is dead.

 

Overrated: agar.io, slither.io, fnaf, cod, csgo
underrated: Terraria, TF2, trove, diep.io(probably gonna become overrated soon lmao)

 

over rated: dark souls 3
under rated: the lego star wars series (complete saga especially)

 

Overrated: UNDERTALE, MY GOD, UNDERTALE. It's so overrated it's not even funny. Pls help me It's an undertale fanboy/girl apocalypse...

Underrated: Mother (Earthbound) series, it's a really fun series and is almost only known because of Junkertale.

Note: Undertale is based off the Earthbound Halloween hack, which is an Earthbound (Mother 2) hack.

Bottom line: Undertale wouldn't have ever exist without Earthbound.
