Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"You get all that?"
I ask Crelucium.

OOC: Because copying and pasting parts of posts is annoying.

 

"Huh, yeah that makes sense. Alright, was it wrong for Artemis to react the way she did?" I ask.

"Yeah, I think I sort of remember some of it. I don't want to hurt the green haired girl or her friends, though. That's wrong."

 

"She felt your relationship being threatened by an outside cause. I don't see how her reaction could be argued to be unjustified."
He pauses.
"No, her reaction made sense. It may have been pushing it, but it was justified."

 

"For the record, Artemis is the green haired one, AJ is the big one, and Abigail is the firey one."

 

"Alright, here's a tougher one. Was I at fault for harming Ihra by accidentally stabbing her with Shadow Katana?"

"Uhh...do they have friends? Hmm...what were they called...uh, Katie and Stephanie?"

 

"Yes, they do. Katie's the one with water powers, and Stephanie can do various item magic."

 

"You what?!"

 

"Some of the memories are coming back now. I...can't remember all too much though. After a while, all my memories are just this weird...nothingness."

"Uhh...eheh heh heh...never mind. Uhm, what's your opinion on pop-tarts?" I say, trying to change the subject.

 

"Like there's something there, but you can't remember it?"

 

"I...I'm not sure. Maybe if I were to try hard enough, I could remember, but it's just blackness. Like, I never existed until recently."

 

"That's got to be extremely confusing."

 

"You know I wasn't there for that. I'd need to hear more before I made a decision. Also, I don't know what those are."

 

"It's really odd. Do you think you could ask the summoner of the blank to summon another? I kind of want to be able to talk a little easier."

"They're like sugary confections that you put in a toaster. I had a nightmare about them," I say, "So what's your opinion on Drake; that talking flower?"

 

"Sure. As long as you don't try to stick any of your limbs inside someone's mouth."
I look around for Stephanie.

 

Stephanie's configuring some of her crystals a short distance away, a ring of them spinning just below the one she's tending to.

 

"Uncertain. He seems to be taking an extreme neutral position; he warns us about an impending attack he's starting, but I don't see him as evil. I think you're jumping to conclusions with him."

 

I walk over to her.
"Hey, Stephanie, could you summon another one of those Blanks for me?"

 

"I trust your judgement; I'll try to act a little more rational with him. It seems a bit weird how he both tries to help us from the threat he's creating though." I say.

"So...a little more of a personal question here but...knowing my sort of backstory, am I at fault for the deaths? It was more for me, not initiated by me."

"Oh, sure thing!" Stephanie says happily, looking up, "Just...if you're using it for dating purposes, try to keep it tame."

A blank appears in front of Stephanie in a dark purple burst; it simply stands there mindless. Stephanie goes back to configuring her crystals.

 

"Hah! No, it's for Crelucium. Not entirely sure if it's a good idea, but we'll see, I guess."

"This'll do?"
I mumble to Crelucium.

 

"For Vei's death? Yes. It was initiated by you. Don't try to hide it. You caused the paradox, you made Vei's motherly instinct kick in. She did everything she could to keep as many of you alive as possible - even when that meant taking the punishment for your mess."
