Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"It's really fine if you have suppressed feelings for me, you know. I'm surprised everyone doesn't have suppressed feelings for the beauty that is Aj." I say proudly.

"Sorry for stealing all the egotistical Aj and hoarding him for myself. He's really just so handsome, I have to be the only one who has him." Artemis says half sarcastically.

"I don't...have suppressed feelings for you. I think of you as a friend, and I wouldn't try to take you from Artemis; you two are together and I'm not going to try and break that." Abigail says, embarrassed.

"Maybe there's some love potion in the potion then...might explain the increased affectionate feelings towards people." I wonder.

 

"I think you should stop considering a harem, Aj."

 

"Do I look like some kind of fat nerd who spends all day and all night on his toilet-adapted computer eating cheetos and watching Anime?" I ask.

"If Aj were to cheat on me, he'd be freaking dead." Artemis says.

"Can confirm." I say.

 

"Well, what if he was forced to cheat on you?"

 

"Willingly forced, he wouldn't. Unwillingly, I could forgive him; because he wasn't in control of himself." Artemis says.

 

"Willingly forced. Say, for example, Abigail threatened him, and Aj had the choice to cheat on you, and then he decided to because of Abigail's threat."

 

"You wouldn't cheat on me if you were threatened, would you?" Artemis asks.

"Nope. I would take death over cheating; cheating is dishonourable." I say.

 

"Yeh, cheating is dishonorable. Though I'd bet if I had a one on one duel with you, Artemis and Abigail would tag along." The flower remains silent. "WAIIIIT! There's something off here...how come, all of The Big Three's names...START WITH AN 'A'!!!!!!!"

 

I decide to leave him alone and keep an eye on him.

 

"Because we're the A team!" Abigail says, desperately trying to change the subject.

"It is pretty weird how our names start with an A though..." I comment.

"Probably just coincidence." Artemis says.

 

Arnold holds the arm attachment up and it absorbs the reflected energy bolts.
He then fires a beam of energy at Virei'tus. The energy surrounds him in a ball of green.

 

"Hey, hey, I'm pretty sure that this is related to this ancient creature that's a pyramid with an eye, but hey, hey, I'm marching my army of evil flowers here as we speak so now would be a good Time to die, eh?"

 

Abigail torches the ground around the flower, leaving lingering fires.

"Are you some demented clown? Hey hey! Hey hey! Hey hey!" I say mockingly.

Abigail falls to the ground, spinning around and throwing a fireball, "Ermagerd illumernerty cernfermed! 360 noscoooope!" Abigail shouts.

 

"Hey, you know I was only joking right? Besides, I'm trying to keep up a conversation. It's hard to keep calm when everything around me is so tense."

 

"It's hard not to be tense when you have the foreknowledge that people are coming to kill you." I say.

"Maybe we need massages or something..." Artemis says, glancing at me.

"I might give the best massages, but we don't exactly have time to be messing around." I reply.

"Stress can be an enemy within itself, though." Stephanie says, walking closer to the group. Her crystals spin around her.

"So...free massages until the enemies get here?" Abigail asks.

"If you want to get ambushed and killed, sure thing." I say.

 

"Well, you're certainly in less of a tense position than me."

 

"Yes, juggling all those ulterior motives around must be quite stressful." I say, smirking.

 

"That and witnessing a battle between Vir and Arnold, and constantly keeping track of this position, and trying to coordinate an offensive." Echoes the flower. "Oh bugger"

 

"Knew it." Abigail says, summoning a few fireballs.

"My god, look at the 'Aj's chance to invade your mind' meter! It's off the charts!" I say, before glaring at you.

Artemis drains the life from all of the communication flowers.

"Traitor..." Stephanie says, disappointed.

 

"Well, go ahead. Run back to the original position, jump into the portal, and kill Xlentia while she's unconscious. I'm not stopping you from doing stuff you might regret." I say, sprouting from the ground, before descending back into the ground.
