There's a string that comes out behind it. The bolt sticks to the blank and...

Thirteen is dragged into the blank at a pretty high speed.

Ihra snickers.

 

I brace myself, feet first, and barrel into the Blank, pinning it to the ground.
"Oh."
I say, a bit fazed.
"So that's grappling."

"I guess that's a hookshot bolt?" Artemis says.

The blanks glowing green eyes stare at you ominously. Artemis puts her hands on her head, and the blank looks like it moves independently, pushing you off and getting up.

"Hookshot works too." Artemis agrees.

 

"Yeah, let's call it a hookshot bolt. It sounds cooler."
I get off the Blank, grabbing the bolt.
I go back to where I put the other bolts, and re-stash them.

 

"Seems a bit redundant considering he can fly..." Ihra says offhandedly.
"Nyre, I mean. Well, you can too, technically."

You quickly count how many bolts you have before you stash them all.
Ten of each, it seems.

 

The blank follows you. It seems rather ominous.

"I guess that's that sorted out," I say, looking toward Katie, "Want to try and sort Abigail out?"

"Sure, why not." Katie says, walking over to Abigail.

 

"What about someone he needed to trap?"

I think about where I could possibly get more.
In doing so, I remember something useful I could've take from Nyre's corpse.
I facepalm myself.

I don't seem to mind.

 

You notice the blank's eyes are still glowing, and Artemis still has her hands on her head.

Katie makes a small cut on Abigail's neck, and puts her hand on it. Her eyes turn blue, and she focuses on drawing the potion out of Abigail. A small sphere of multi-coloured liquid appears behind her hand.

 

Nyre's corpse is still there. Virei'tus hands Nyre's robe to you.
"Can't fix the holes for his wings, but you look about the same size."

Ihra examines the orb, a bit entranced.

 

It seems to be growing slowly, and its colour shifts in different parts.

"I wouldn't drink that if I were you." Katie says, still focused.

 

"I don't want to. It's kind of pretty."

 

I grin greatly.
"Thanks! A lot, really."
I put the armor-robe on.

 

Stephanie fills a small, glass orb with some of the potion; and hands it to Ihra.

"Here you go, Ihra." Stephanie says happily.

"We can be cloak buddies!" I say happily, putting up the hood of my cloak. Stephanie does the same.

"You're one of us now." Stephanie says in a slightly evil tone.

 

It's a robe, the material's just tough.
"No problem. Our world's items may as well be put to use. You'll be rather fire-immune in it, so that's a plus."

"Uh... I don't think this is a good idea."

 

"I just thought you would want it to look at. Just don't drink it." Stephanie says.

"I really think we should weaponise that potion." I say.

 

I put my hands under the sleeves of my robes, and start circling my hands.

I smile.

 

Stephanie and I seem rather confused.

You feel a presence behind you.

 

"Oh. Yeah. That. Right."
She sits down and starts looking at it, picking a piece of grass off the ground.

"Don't go overboard."

 

"Are you feeling alright? You didn't drink any of the potion, did you?" Stephanie asks, concerned.

 

"I'm fine."
She opens the potion and dips the piece of grass in it.
