Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Abigail grabs the crystal off you and just stares at it.

"I think we found a sort of remedy to the potion." Stephanie says, smiling.

Artemis walks over to Abigail with a cup of Nature Elixir, "Here, drink this." Artemis says, holding the cup towards Abigail.

Abigail takes the cup and tries to drink from it, but ends up spilling it all over herself.

Artemis sighs, a wooden hand giving her another cup of elixir. Artemis kneels beside Abigail and helps her drink it.

"I think Abigail's been reduced to the mental state of a child. Well, at least you understand why I said it metaphorically melts your brain." I say.

 

I stand up.
"So, approximately how long will she be like this?"

 

"I can't be sure, but we'll just have to wait it out. She won't technically be the way she is anymore, though." Artemis says, standing up.

Artemis raises a hand, and Abigail gets up. There's a slight green glow behind her red shades.

"Hey Artemis, could you do something for 13 and I?" Stephanie says, running over.

Stephanie whispers something to Artemis, and Artemis puts a hand to her head.

"I have no name, my master always chooses one for me." Abigail drones, mimicking Artemis. You can just about hear Artemis whisper the same in sync with Abigail.

Stephanie smiles at you.

 

I smile back and chuckle a bit.
"Although funny, I wouldn't want anyone to ambush us while we're doing that again."

 

"I think we should be safe with Virei'tus around." Artemis says.

"Hey, maybe we could continue the roleplay again! Since, you know, we actually have someone who'll do whatever we want." Stephanie says excitedly.

"No, she won't. She'll do what I tell her to; I'm not letting you two get away with doing cruel acts with someone who has no free will." Artemis says.

"I...guess we could continue if you wanted," Katie says, walking over, "But don't use a real blade this time, alright?"

Stephanie and Katie look at you expectantly.

 

"I'm cool with it if you have any ideas. Because I really don't. Too much on my mind. Like this."
I raise Nyre's Crossbow a bit.

Artemis shivers a little, "Why do you have that?" She asks.

"Maybe we should wait until a calmer time then." Katie says.

"I understand if you're a little busy. You should roleplay when your mind's clearer." Stephanie says happily.

I flip Shadow Katana a few times before I end up chopping my arm in half. I quickly re-attach it, darkness surrounding the cut and healing it, hoping nobody noticed.

 

I shrug.
"Looted it off of his dead corpse, to put it bluntly. I'm not entirely sure what all the bolts do."
I look at AJ, oblivious to the fact that he just cut off his own arm.
"Could you help me with that?"
I turn to Artemis again.
"Along with your consent, of course."

 

"I have an idea that doesn't involve hurting my boyfriend." Artemis says, grabbing me and holding me close when I walk over.

Artemis turns to Stephanie, "Could you summon me one of those 'Blanks'?" Artemis asks.

Stephanie summons a grey, humanoid figure next to her. Artemis puts her hand on its head, and its eyes glow green.

Artemis turns back to you, "Try shooting that." Artemis says.

OOC: I think the effects of the bolts are @Exvhius' deal.

 

"Alright. That's probably better."

OOC: Exactly what I was thinking.

I ready the crossbow and load a random bolt.

 

"I'll tell you what it feels, since I've connected myself to it," Artemis says, waiting for you to fire, "I'll feel what it feels, albeit with no damage to myself."

OOC: Now we wait for Exvhius.

 

"Good."
OOC: Yup.

That random bolt turned out to be a plasma arrow; the humanoid figure melts a bit.

 

"Plasma Arrow, it seems to melt the enemy." Artemis says, subconsciously rubbing the area where the arrow hit on herself.

 

OOC: Can I have some more info about the bolts I have? Such as, if the plasma one is retrievable?

"Hm."
I comment, as I ready the crossbow again and put in another random bolt.

 

Artemis prepares herself for the next bolt, pulling out an imaginary bolt from herself. The figure pulls out the plasma bolt.

 

He opens his mouth to respond, then freezes himsef to the floor.
His uncoordinated movements show that he's still asleep.

"More like he knows everything. What our elemental alignment is, the strengths and weaknesses it provides... His null field even counteracts bent time."

OOC: Once you figure out what they look like, yes, though the plasma bolt also melted itself.

This one looks the same as the one before it. This time, though, you notice three little red lines painted around the circumference of the bolt. Looks like they're labeled.

There was just melted stuff. No bolt.

 

I read the label.

 

It's just the little red stripes.
On another bolt, there are two grey stripes.

 

OOC: Oh. That kind of label. Not actual words.
I load and fire the one with read stripes.
